isaac-lahey-14:
When the man stepped out of the shadows, Cam froze and just..stared at him. He looked a lot like..he just looked very familiar. Eyes squinting, he said nothing when he was told that he needed to leave. How would this person know that this was private property unless..no, it couldn’t be. But the longer he stood there, the more nervous and..anxious he became, because if this was who he thought it was, he had no idea what to do..or how to act.
Glancing back at the house, he ran his hand through his hair, “I uh..” Unable to form an actual coherent sentence, he was still just basically frozen in his spot, wanting to say so much, but afraid to do so. Looking back at the other man, he locked their eyes together and just tried to get a read on him. Everything was similar, in a lot of ways. The eye color, the cheek bones, the hair curls and the color. Of course, many things were different, some of which were making him think that he could be wrong.
Stepping closer, Cam shakes his head and points at him, “Y-You own this p-property?” With tears in his eyes, his heart pounds harder against his chest with everything that the guy did. And if he was being honest with himself, he wasn’t just a random guy telling him that he was trespassing, there was no way. It was just not possible. He had gotten a lot taller and he grew into his clothes..sort of. It had to be him. Letting a few tears fall, he takes a shaky breath, “Izzy?”
Isaac was lucky his hands were in his pockets because, as the stranger stared so intently at him, he could feel his control slipping. He hated the way those eyes drank in the sight of him, hated the way it made him feel like an animal in a zoo. Isaac fought that primal side of him though. The last thing he needed was to transform right now. Though he was grateful for this gift -- the strength and healing -- control was still something he needed to work on, though it was working now at least.
Glowering at the man, his eyes narrowed as the stranger stepped closer. Was he crying? The scent of salt stung his nose. Those were tears. Why? Did the man think Isaac was going to hurt him? But then the man’s words registered in his ears. What?
“Maybe. I dunno,” he responded, shrugging though his glare remained as sharp as daggers.·“Whatever the case, you’re still trespassing.” Seriously. Isaac wasn’t sure what the legal status of the property was with his father being dead and him a sixteen-year-old fugitive but it didn’t give strangers the right to traipse around it.·“Don’t call me that,” he spat instinctually when the man called him·‘Izzy’. The only person who’d called him that was Camden -- this man had no right to use it.·“And stop crying. I don’t know who you are but you need to leave.” So did Isaac but he wasn’t leaving this man alone here.
