Pixel Art Tutorial
Note: This tutorial was created in 2007 for my personal website. Some small tweaks have been made since then, but nothing too significant. In this 10-step tutorial, I’ll teach you how to create a “sprite”, which is a stand-alone two-dimensional character or object. The term comes from video games, of course.
Creating pixel art is a skill I picked up because I needed graphics for my games. After a lot of practice, I became kinda handy with it, and started to see it more as actual art rather than just a tool. These days, pixel art is quite popular in game development and illustration.
This pixel tutorial was created many years ago to teach people the basic concepts behind pixel art, but I’ve streamlined it a lot since its first incarnation. There are other pixel tutorials around, but I find them to be overly-complicated and too wordy. Pixel art is not a science. You should never have to calculate a vector when doing pixel art.

ATTENTION ALL GIRLS AND LADIES: if you walk from home, school, office or anywhere and you are alone and you come across a little boy crying holding a piece of paper with an address on it, DO NOT TAKE HIM THERE! take him straight to the police station for this is the new 'gang' way of rape. The incident is getting worse. Warn your families. Reblog this so this message can get accross to everyone.
I will always reblog things like this, it won’t ruin your blog or the look of it, and this could potentially save a life.
PLEASE reblog this.

In the midst of the club I stand 'round waiting for a numb. From the beer, from the drugs. I’m here waiting for the numb. People pass, people go. I’m feeling sad, it’s the way it goes. Set me free monitor screens. Those music videos show me where I wanna be. Instead of bleeding in this club, crying tears when I’m drunk. It’s all inside. That doesn’t make it hurt any less. A hurricane is tearing me apart. It’s my hurricane, but no storm can be manipulated, even ones raging within. They’re free to wreak pain. They’re free to win.

Rejection makes me wanna stay up all night and write.
On a side note, Dogzplot Literary Journal has some great material on their page! Give them a look.
Will you make it to 2069?

Master Panther has a vision. It's never concealed. Witholding knowledge is counterintuitive. The conscious act would rightly alter flow. He shares his plan to colleagues, aware of the lights flicking on as he talks. It's bold to call oneself a student of 360 Degrees of Knowledge. Master's listeners discover this after half-assed Google research following the topic.
Master Panther, when you're old you'll be wise. An image of the future revealed: Masses of dreads hanging against a seasoned face. Sitting cross-legged. Eyes closed in meditation.
Master's spirit is ascending to the astral plane to share his message in our dreams.

I was convenience. Something to use, then litter the streets with.
She'd visit late. Always gone by morning. Around midnight she'd appear at my door again. We'd share light conversation. I'd bend backwards to entertain her. I had to. That mysterious life of hers must be a gas considering she had no time for me.
“Is that what you think?” She said. “What if I told you I tried too, I gave you the time I had and it was never enough.”
“Stop.” I answered. “You disappeared. Let me believe in my fantasies. I was perfect.”

Second chances are romantic. Together, wrapped in the web of a hammock I would say she agrees. Those crystal blue eyes looking into me, belonged to a girl left behind with the rest. We saw each other grow up from a distance. For years she was unknown to me; Same world, different world. Now I'm here. Now she's here. How wonderful change can be. Us, hand-in-hand, living proof that things could've played out differently. One kiss is all we shared that warm Florida night. I revelled on it during my parting. A “could have been” I shall not forget.
