Born Isadora Madelyn Xanthos, Isa is the second child to Greek-American billionaire Pietro Niccolo Xanthos and Vivienne Katarzina Xanthos (née Adamyan), an socialite of French-Armenian decent. She was exposed to a rather privileged and lavish lifestyle at a very early age, which pretty much shaped her as the person she is now. However, this doesn't mean she was a spoiled brat. Her mother made sure Isadora was raised properly.

There were four more children to follow after the birth of Isadora and her twin brother. All of which were raised solely by their mother with little to no help of nannies or other services of that sort. While her husband was busy building up his business empire and ensuring that the family could carry on living their lavish lifestyle, Vivienne had slowly taken up the role of a devoted wife and mother, who made sure everyone felt equally loved and appreciated while instilling high expectations and discipline; the true epitome of a matriarch and someone young Isadora aspired to be like one day. Well, maybe minus the children since her dreams and ambitions spread as far away as possible from becoming a mother and having family of her own.

Growing up, Isadora was a needy child. Constantly getting jealous when she wasn't the center of attention, so it came as no wonder to anyone when she quickly excelled in drama classes. She was also highly competitive. Born only after five minutes apart from her brother, which should have been an indicator for her desire to be at the top from the very start of her life, she constantly felt the need to prove herself. This hidden rivalry only deepened once Niccolo picked up interest in business, which was something he had in common with their father.

Aside from focusing on keeping the family's good image, Vivienne was also dedicated to various philanthropic causes. It was often Isadora, who accompanied her at such events, considering her dad's busy schedule and the fact that she was the single girl in the family, expected to one day take up on this work. While she found most things boring, she was always fascinated by all the art exhibitions she and her mother attended in order to raise awareness of preserving the cultural diversity. As former artist, her mother had deep passion for art, which translated to Isa, whose aesthetic sense has already been established from birth.

Graduating from high school, Isadora pursued a bachelor's degree in History of Arts, followed by a master's degree in Criticism & Curatorial Practice. She also took classes in the field of International relations and Conservation of Artistic Heritage. She even did a few exchange programs throughout Europe, soaking up all that she could learn about art in all its forms. She then proceeded to assist her mother in her philanthropic work. building up valuable connections until she was able to establish her own foundation.

It was during the same time that she met her husband. They shared the same passion for art as well as for each other, which led them to make the snap decision of getting married without getting to know each other first, which in return led to them soon finding comfort in other people. It soon became like a game for them, getting on each other's nerves with their short affairs; like a drug even. Something that fueled the passion back into their marriage and reminding them of what they loved about the other and what they could never find in anyone else.

Ever a quick thinker, it wasn't long before Isadora had found a way to tie her passion for art to her own form of entrepreneurship, using her own artistic foundation in order to be dealing with copies of paintings and artifacts alike, gaining her own father's respect in the process as well as the rest of the Society's members. Maybe even some of their fear, too.

Gabriel regarded Isadora with a calm intensity, the corners of his lips barely hinting at a smile. He could see the weight of her thoughts, the way she wrestled with her own reflections. “Wine can certainly offer a moment of relief,” he replied, his voice calm and measured, glancing at the glass in her hand. “But it can also be quite the distraction.” He paused, allowing the weight of his words to settle in the air between them. “It’s easy to rely on something external when the internal landscape feels turbulent.” Gabriel did not feel the need to say what he could see painted in the women's face. He recognized the sight of a woman in a turbulent relationship. After all, why else would she be sitting alone in a bar at this hour? The soft glow of the bar lights glinted off her wedding ring, a silent testament to the complexities of her life.

It was only after she'd turned to face her companion that Isadora realized who he was. Though proven himself countless times for the period of time he'd been part of the Society, Isadora remained wary of Gabriel. It didn't stop her from enjoying his company nonetheless. She was taught how to keep small talk casual. "It's perfect choice then," she smiled, sliding her index finger down the curved glass before taking a sip. "Because I need both tonight." Her light eyebrows furrowed together at his words, she certainly didn't like being judged. Even more so when the other was perceiving her like an open book. "I feel like that's been most of us these days. There's been a lot of turbulence, both internal and external. But I'm curious, what's your excuse? Don't you have more fun plans than brooding alone at a bar?"

Ronnie took it all in stride, a small smile playing at her lips at the question of her manners. To be frank, she was never really the hostess with the mostest type, more the girl with the grease beneath her fingernails and the fire in her in her soul, a tom boy of sorts. "I'll let you know when I find them." Ronnie teased. "There's coffee and tea in the lounge, but..." She trailed, glancing down her watch. It was 5 o'clock somewhere. "If you prefer something stronger. I do keep a secret stash. Corona, Tequila, and a little vino."

It was rare for Isadora to let her annoyance show; she was taugh to keep her thoughts to herself and it was something she'd exceeded in past the well-rehearsed fake smiles and politeness. With Ronnie, however, annoyance was the last thing to even cross her mind. The blonde found the fact how different they were amusing, loving the confidence with which she spoke, always telling exactly what was on her mind. "It's been a while since I've had tequila." Isadora shrugged, surprising even herself by choosing something other than her usual. "I hope you didn't make plans for tonight."

there was something decidedly wicked about isadora - even her most innocent smiles had a hint of mischief to them, a certain air that dared people to get closer, to try and touch her without getting burned. it calls to the very instinct that had led monica down the rabbit hole into the gang life, a greedy corvid desire for just one more shiny object to hoard away. "i suppose as long as we haven't committed secret murders, we should be fine," monica replies lightly, "the littler secrets are of no consequence, right?"

she inhales and turns her attention back to the art. "to sow discord? although, there's no need to release blackmail for that, the gangs are at each other's neck enough already. what do you think?"

There was something Isadora saw in Monica, which she didn't in most of the other members of the Society. It wasn't a particular skill but rather a glimpse at bits of her past self. It was probably the reason why she enjoyed the other's company every time, why she allowed herself to be more natural. They shared a mutual passion after all, even if Monica's was slightly rusty. "Murder, my dear, is the easiest to get away with." The blonde replied with a small, meaningful smile on her lips. "And totally overrated, so it should be the least of your concerns. There are far more awful things people can do to each other, which we often tend to overlook." And which someone could exploit to gain whatever they were after. Discord? Power? Revenge? It could be anything honestly. "Who knows, maybe something's already brewing and this could be just a distraction?"

Ronnie could be covered in grease, working on a faulty carburetor that was sputtering oil all over the place, but to her paperwork was always the least glamorous part of the job. She had had a full day by the time she was settled into her office, concentrated on some invoices from a day’s worth of jobs. Her brow furrowed over them, something wasn't adding up, but it seemed the logistics would have to wait. "Don't have to tell me twice." She looked up from her desk to find Isadora in the doorway, grateful for the reprieve from all the paperwork. "What are the details?"

Isadora smiled at the eagerness in Ronnie's tone. It didn't happen often, but there was a certain amount of admiration she held for the other woman and everything that she did — in and out of the Society. "Where are your manners, dear?" She scolded playfully, postponing the real business talk for a little, knowing it'd probably annoy the other and as if this fact alone gave Isa some sort of satisfaction. "Haven't you been told it's an act of good nature to offer coffee or tea to a business partner?" She laughed lightly. Though, whoever knew her well, knew Isadora much preferred wine.

the last couple days were a shitshow. someone was shot. the ghost of a founder of his former gang was calling him and giving cryptic messages. gabriel washed his hands of all of them a long time ago. but snakes are notoriously hard to get rid of. the whiskey in front of him kept him company as he sat at the hotel bar. it was late, and yet someone decided to pull up a seat at the bar. "late night?" he ponders, eyes going from the other person to the bartender.

There was nothing a good old glass of wine couldn't help with. Sometimes Isadora wondered if that made her an alcoholic. Lately it seemed the glass of wine was her companion far more often than her own husband. Then as soon as this thought crept, it was pushed again to the back of her mind, because when had she ever been seen without a glass in her hand? It didn't necessary mean she was drinking it, it just gave her an excuse to avoid conversations or unwanted company. However, tonight she needed it. "You can say so." She replied, her curiosity winning once more and her light hues darting off towards the man next to her. "What about you?"

Noelle nodded, “I have my assumptions, more like hopes I guess,” Jordan was the most fit for the job, he would be best at it. Dante would drive the gang into the ground, “unfortunately I don’t get a vote, at least traditionally that’s how it’s run. The council decides,” she admitted. “So we just all have to sit back and see how this will play out.”

"We all have our hopes, dear." Isadora sighed. "Especially following the most recent events." If she had to be honest she saw the Serpents and The Society as equals; their lines of work so different from each other that it was probably for the best if they could keep the peace and join forces when needed in crashing the smaller groups seeing advantage in these times to raise their heads. Of course, she was never a fan of direct violence, which only made this unity stronger. But that also meant it was crutial for who stood at the top, too. "So it's up to who has the strongest pull at this council then."

While Isadora had an eye for pretty things, cars included, it was not her usual scenery and it showed. She felt out of place, walking into the establishment, immediately catching the attention of the workers inside who eagerly offered their help. But the only help she needed was for directions which she already knew. Despite a couple proteste on behalf of the staff, she walked straight to the back and into the manager's office. "I'll cut straight to the point - I know you prefer it that way. I have a job for you."

pretending to care about art had lost its charm the day claudia had realized that the only people who could afford to be curators, or gallery owners, etc. were the people who didn't have to pay their own damn bills. she can recite era, artist, style, common critiques with the best of them, but art no longer had that sparkly feeling of something rare and precious it did when she was a little girl dreaming of finery. still, the society gallery is certainly miles better than those disgusting little dive bars some of the other gangs used. claudia hovers behind isadora, having already delivered the latest intel she'd acquired, debating whether it's worth asking what's actually on her mind. "are you worried?" she finally ventures. "about these texts? everyone has secrets, but these have been....alarming."

Art wasn't the only thing Isadora has mastered to perfection throughout the years. Her taste for perfumes was equally refined as was her senses in general. She knew who approached her long before the woman had even spoken yet she remained silent until it was the other to speak her mind first. "Worried? No, not really." If she was anything, she'd use the word 'annoy' to describe it. Turning to face her, there was no sign of worry written over Isadora's delicate features. In fact, her eyes sparkled with dare. "Are you?" She paused, letting her words sink in. "We all have secrets and something tells me as alarming as these sound, they are only the beginning. Who knows what other dark things others share. I'm curious, though. What's the point of it all?"

Noelle shrugged, "Pretty sure he saw a pretty woman and painted it." Not that she cared much. The conversation had turned a bit to art for her liking, she didn't actually care much she just wanted to make her house pretty. "A few people have actually. Which brings up your point exactly. It is a distasteful mockery of Moretti." She rolled her eyes, Giovanni was no saint but he was a person, right? Not that she cared about that either. "I mean whatever though. People should be more focused on who is actually smart enough to pull this off and be more worried about the future problems that come with rather than the past. We have so much coming up that we need to prep for." LIke the serpent elections for one.

Isadora let a small smile grace her lips, but she was in a mood, especially after a glass of fine wine being placed next to her, which made her gracefully dismiss Noelle's words. She'd tried to warn the other at the beginning, but it seemed as if her words haven't been taken into full consideration. "I agree." Isa pulled back her phone, considering inviting Noelle another time to maybe have a look at the piece of art in person. "Do you have any assumptions who that may be?" She mused. "Enlighten me, dear, what are we to prep for? Unless you're talking about the elections. Then I have no say in that, but you better choose wise."

Noelle scrunched her eyebrows and looked at her, "That is the metaphor, nothing is what it seems. I mean you look at the Mona Lisa and it's just that. The Mona Lisa, but you look at the abstract, you have to figure it out. Your first assumption may not be right." SHe shrugged, "Kinda reminds me of all this shit we are going through, I mean people are so sure the texts are coming from the Serpents and it seems that way but they aren't. It's almost like the sender wants people to believe that, airgo, abstract."

Small smile graced Isadora's lips, provoked by Noelle's blissful ignorance. "If I were you, I wouldn't be using Mona Lisa as a comparison. I get your point, but there has been a lot of contraversy whether or not it truly is what we see or rather what Da Vinci wanted us to see." The woman mused before taking a sip from her glass. "And I can say the same for other paintings, too. I feel like people are often wrongfully attracted to the abstract thinking it's more open to making assumptions as to what it represents when often times there is barely any hidden meaning behind it. But that's just my opinion, of course. Don't let it influence your choice." Realizing she'd been talking a lot, Isa paused and pushed her phone towards the woman, having finally found the picture she was speaking of. "Who said they are coming from them? Just because someone decided to use a dead man as a cover doesn't mean we should believe the people closest to him are involved. Don't you think it be rather distasteful on their behalf to mock with their leader in such way?"

" i believe we've crossed paths several times -- but have never had the chance to officially be acquainted. " simone hums, gracefully crossing her legs before cradling her chin in the palm of her hand. the woman listen's intently, coming to terms with the fact that yes indeed, the vibrant blonde had been in attendance at babylon. she knew about these texts, why they were corralled there like a herd of sheep. " oh -- i'm well aware that people can take the twisted and make it into art. take francisco de goya, for example. i believe one of his most well known works is a portrait of saturn eating his son. people can find both beauty and ugliness everywhere, in mundane life, in work, play, religion, the latest evening's dinner plate. and yet, it can all become artwork. i believe where the line is -- it's when real people are involved. the brutal attacks on those two people are anything but performance art. "No?" While Isadora agreed there was a line that shouldn't be crossed and she was more inclined to comdemn those vicious attacks, she wasn't going to agree with the woman that it wasn't a sort of performance art. Maybe they didn't get it, but if there'd been one thing she'd learnt — it was that art wasn't something everyone would always like or approve of. She, for example, didn't see much meaning in modern art, but that didn't mean there weren't people who didn't like it, who didn't sought it at auctions. It was a matter of preference and taste and there were people for everything. "I believe it was just that. You can't deny there was a plan. It wasn't a random shooting and I doubt the victims were random either. The text invitations. Everything is all part a bigger scheme, which we are yet to figure out." Personally, Isadora loved solving such mysteries. As someone who'd spend decent amount of her life studying the hidden messages behind each painting she'd encountered, she loved trying to figure out what stood behind each message. "But let's not dwell on that gruesome act."

Noelle shrugged, "I just feel like especially with how things are these days a bit of abstract is the way to go, it's not at all what it seems, it's a metaphor." One with several meanings. With their line of work, nothing was ever how it seemed and the recent events only solidified that. "Of course, I was born lucky, you know who I am right." Noelle rolled her eyes. Everything about her life was lucky- except her parents who couldn't care less that she breathed. "I would love to see." She agreed to see some pictures.

Despite having the totally opposite opinion, Isadora had quickly learnt to appreciate and like the way of thinking. It seemed as if people often underestimated Noelle, which the woman believed to be a great mistake. However, it could also play well in both their favor. "Well then, maybe you can enlighten me on what this metaphor is." Isa shrugged while looking down to pick her phone and browse through her most recent photos to find the one she was looking for. "Of course I know who you are. It's written all over you, dear."

" what gave it away that i was the right victim for you, hm? " she hums, eyes scanning the unfamiliar woman before looking back at her. " i'm surrounded by the arts so much, i'm practically swimming in it. i'll do you one better... tell me something about art i don't know, and it's yours. "

Isadora eyed the woman, unable to fully flesh out her name yet or at least where she might be so familiar from. She was sure their paths had crossed before, but with her line of work and amount of people she met on the daily basis, it was possible she was simply mistake. A face like that, though... It wasn't one to be seen often. The way the woman spoke, too, was something to quickly catch Isa's attention, making her turn her body to now face that of the woman. "Excuse me, but have we met before?" She asked, making one final attempt to find the answer to that question herself, before giving up. "I'm sure we have." She dismissed with a wave of her hand, meant to catch the bartender's attention, so she could order a glass of wine for both of them. "There is always something new to learn about art. We seem to think of it as something static, you know. Something that's from the past. But the human mind is constantly evolving and so is art." She paused. "Like did you hear about what happened at this club? Babylon? We may think it's horrible. But there is someone who sees art. A plan so perfectly executed. There was this quote I once read in a book about beauty being terror. I could never think of a better way to descibe it. Don't you think?"

Noelle was enjoying her afternoon. The events of Babylon should have scared her more than they did which was concerning. "I could get behind that. I've been looking to get a new piece for my place." She said with a hum, "Yeah sure. Deal." She smiled before ordering two glasses of wine. "I'm looking for something new, abstract and makes people unable to take their eyes off of it."

"Abstract, you say." Isadora mused while studying the woman in attempt to figure out where she had seen that pretty face before. Was it one of the countless galas? Maybe. "Personally, I find modern art boring." Isa shrugged. While there were some pieces she'd enjoyed, in her opinion most was exactly how the blonde has described it. Abstract, only not in a way that would catch people's eyes unless it was so they could try and figure out what the artist had meant to say with it. "But it seems you've been born with luck because I'm currently working with this new artist. Very abstract, very chic. Definitely catches the eyes. Let me see if I have some pictures in my phone to show you."

Though she generally had no issues with violence, her surrounding enviroment had always been one where Isadora had no close touch with it; certainly not as close as she'd been that night in Babylon. As much as she denied and tried to hide it, that night had left her shaken up. It made her reevaluate her view on this whole thing. Whoever stood behind all the phone calls and texts had clearly made their point. Desperate to push those thoughts aside, the woman turned to the person on her right. Charming smile twisted her lips on command. "If you treat me to a glass of wine, I promise to talk your ear off about art. Do we have a deal?"

" hell, with a legacy like his, i donno if he'll ever truly die. " in the eyes of some of his children, he continues to watch over them all. those that wish to follow in his footsteps at the very least. following a healthy sip from the bottle, he places it down on the counter they've found themselves perched at. Side-eyeing the man as he spoke, it didn't take long for the woman to turn her full, undeniable attention to him. He'd managed to intrigue her with the sort of underlying tones of sentiment when he spoke about Giovanni Moretti. Personally, Isa knew the man vaguely, meeting him far different settings than what he was notorious for. Very few people actually knew him as an avid enthusiast about art. But she'd seen quite plenty people with money who happened to share that very same interest, too. "I'm not exactly sure any of us should be enjoying ourselves, given the circumstances. I'm even surprised someone thought it's a good idea to throw a party in honor of his dead relative. But I manage. I won't lie, though, the night would be so much bearable with some company, but my date left me after the funeral. What about you?"
