FESTIVAL POSTER
For my Typography class students had to create a poster for Film, Wine or Music festival and I chose to create a Bossa Nova festival poster. I named my festival as âBossa Music Festâ and I created illustrations to represent each letter of the title. My illustrations are related to Brazil (where Bossa Nova was founded) and to Bossa Nova (Samba/Jazz music).
Program: Adobe Illustrator CS6

Roy Lichtenstein:Â http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy_Lichtenstein
Steps of the Lichtenstein Pop Art project I created for my class based on the photo of Angelina Jolie. I first used the pen tool to carefully work on the paths of Angelinaâs picture. After getting all of my paths done, I created the strokes (the black thick outlines). After that I added color and details (specially on the shadows of her face). The last step was to create the halftone dots. I also created a nice background after all.Â
