Headcanons about isat's reality:
- All craft and deities originated from wishcraft many millenia ago, craft being created like around the discovery of fire or smth but it was weak, howrver repitition like a ritual strengthened it.
- Because things evolved alongside wishcraft, thinking was nudged toward something understandable by wishcraft, however humans were the first to make more active use of it.
- With societies rising wishcraft was more refined, yet this weakened it as more wishes drew the power thin, so rituals were more consolidated to secrecy, by lines of dedicated scholars, to protect its usefulness.
- Eventually as information was able to travel more globally scholars organized a global ritual to create a space to fully consolidate the knowledge. Months later a volcanic island broke the surface of the water. Decades later when the volcanic activity died down enough to be safe, scholars colonized the island.
- Wishcraft was still quite weak compared to what we see ingame due to being used throughout an entire country rather than having intent build up for a decade ready to be used (king) or sudden disasters fuelling mass intent without it being used (siffrin). Though sharp enough intent over a short time frame was still powerful ( loop, bigfrin ).
- Form's like Loop's were rare, but were a part of their culture. There were systems in place to help those people adapt to their new normal.
- Colors were erased by something maybe around a century or so after the island's colonization as wishcrafts power was still not fully grasped and the result was unintentional.
- Extremely strong use of wishcraft in an area depletes the energy available to this wish so colors can reappear temporarily, red being the first to appear due to red light being lower energy, other colors would take so much energy that red might as well be the only to appear.
- Eventually over centuries the island developed its own culture and while quite isolated it openned a bit, still very scientific oriented, however also very unified, like everyone knew everyone as a friend.
- Some information on wishcraft got out but it was very minimal and also quite weak due to the island acting as a sink for all the aimless intent to flow toward.
- That also subtlely affected nearby countries like Vaugarde where people follow their intents to become who they want to be
- However due to the culture and beliefs the island was very static in comparison.
- Eventually a discovery of some power that could be dangerous if leaked was discovered. And a country-wide wish was made to contain the knowledge, which had absolutely no consequences.
THIS IS SO COOL?? VERY PEAK
No consequences....Yeah....Definitely....
