I need you to know that my first glance at it, I didn’t clock that it was *shiro’s* body Keith was daydreaming about, I was fully onboard nodding sagely to art about shiro daydreaming about kissing Keith and Keith daydreaming about having a penis it do be like that sometimes XD XD love all your art!!! it’s always a treat!!!

Oh omg that’s an incredible interpretation! My number one favorite headcanon for Keith is that he’s trans (i wonder why /s) so i can’t believe i didn’t think of that. My intention with that one was that Shiro is thinking about something much more tame but is completely flustered, while Keith is largely unaffected. Don’t know if that came across but either way I’m so glad you liked it! I’ve never gotten an ask before and I love seeing other people’s interpretations of my art :))

A very late Sheith Week 2026 fill. Day one - AU

Keith is a dhampir working with former thrall Shiro to hunt down Zarkon and the vampires that Zircon has turned.

Mixed media, watercolor, gouache, pastels (I used some fluorescing watercolors, and red sparkles)

I used some metallic sparkly paint, which doesn't really show up in the scan, so I might add a video of it. Also, it fluoresces, which is cool, but hard to scan.

I've been on a bit of a hiatus these past few years. I feel like I came out of retirement just to paint some Keith and Shiro. I have sketches for the most of the rest of Sheith Week, but since each piece seems to take at least a month, it's going to take me the rest of the year to do it. At least more Sheith? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Of course, like an idiot, I decided to do my first piece this year on hard mode and went with hot press paper and black paint. And then I had to learn gouache real quick because I messed up the faces. And I relearned why I don't do architectural pieces.

Anyway, thanks to @bangsheith for luring me back into painting! Sorry I'm late.

June 26, 2016: Then-director Chris Palmer posted an artwork featuring Shiro smiling at the viewer on his now-defunct Tumblr. The caption read, "Shiro loves you, baby." and was tagged with "he is looking at keith". "Shiro loves you, baby" quickly became an in-fandom reference, still used by Sheith shippers online to this day.
