〔 ❆ 〕 ❛❛ CASSANDRA ; ( destinybled ):
IN A WAY she’d grown used to having roommates – though this place was bigger than the caravan at least, so she wasn’t about to complain about that detail. where once she’d reveled in her solitude, she’d grown accustomed to the annoyance of people constantly around in close quarters during most times – somehow the silence was nearly deafening but at the same time a nice fall back for simpler times that she missed.
&& at the very least, her new roommate didn’t seem obnoxious – pretty too, almost ethereal somehow – but there was one thing that was odd. && while cassandra never entirely minded the cold – she could stand it easily – she didn’t expect it to be this entirely cold inside. so the woman just crosses her arms over her chest tightly in hopes she’ll warm up.
❝ is it always this cold in these places ? ❞
✧・゚:*❄ Elsa didn't know how long it had been that she'd been sitting silently on the sofa in this place's foyer, it was surprisingly comfortable, but it didn't ease her worries, and as she held the snowman plush on her lap, her hands began to work at the features, tracing them absently, the feel a welcome comfort to restless fingers. As her mind and worries wondered, the air around her began to cool, to plummet dangerously low with every what if that dashed across her mind until a new voice broke into her bubble, pulled the Queen from her spiral.
❝ Oh! ❞ Elsa stood with a start, the snowman still in her hands and clear blue eyes seeking the voice's owner. ❝ That's probably my fault. ❞ She offered sheepishly and, with a wave of her hand, the cold began to recede.
❝ I'm Elsa. ❞ She offered, reaching a hand out, unsure how to feel about a roommate. She used to share a room with her sister, and she figure this would be similar enough. The living space was smaller than what she was used to, but at least her bed chamber was of similar size ( and thankfully all hers ) ❝ My ...powers... They tend to act up when I'm nervous. ❞
She instantly regretted sharing that about herself, but in a way, the person that would be living with her deserved to know.
