Ever since last week, there's been a grey cloud fogging Imara's brain. What she wasn't expecting was for her sadder feelings to manifest into a fire that practically ruined her dinner. The woman was on the bench, trying to regulate her breathing and keep a panic attack at bay. It didn't help that the rain was so cold. Thanks, Jersey. A part of her wanted to run back in, retrieve her jacket that was now long gone.
That was before she noticed Ishaan nearby. Before she then decided to stay put, because she didn't want to put him through her own personal dark cloud.
His voice pulled her out of her head, a tiny smile managing to come to her features as she looked up at him. "You had me at tea." Her smile grew ever so slightly before she stood up, smoothing out the skirt of her dress before following his lead. "Bella Vida?" It was his kindness that made her suddenly forget about the chill of the rain. Even if it were for only a minute or two.
Ishaan had been enjoying a solo date; just him, an exquisite dinner and the latest manuscript of his upcoming book. Thankfully, (although the original stack of papers was now up in flames), a copy was still waiting to be printed out again, on a hard drive he kept safely at home.
When first approaching the woman, Ishaan got to notice Imara's lonesome. Perhaps was she also enjoying an evening on her own. Though he was then quick to pick up on the despondency displayed on her visage, leaving him rather perplex.
'a woman after my own heart' he smiled in her direction upon agreeing to join him for a cup of tea.
Extending his right arm out for her to hold onto, his other one skillfully managed to get his umbrella open to shield them both from the cold rain, slowly walking alongside to the cafe Imara had suggested.
'fire scare aside..how was your day, neighbour?' a genuine smile stretched over his soft features, brown eyes taking in every single detail about the beautiful brunette by his side.
