The ride jerked to a halt, the two of them stuck at the very top of the ride. While the view was beautiful, and someone relaxing, Ishimaru’s posture stiffened considerably. 

“W-we’re awfully high up…” He choked, his body tight. He was fine when the ride was moving, because he knew they wouldn’t be in the air for long, but the sudden stop made by the ride caused the seat to swing hectically, as if it would shake loose and fall. He paled, maybe he shouldn’t think about falling, or how high up they were, or how long it would take to hit the ground—

“Um- H-how long does the ride stay like this… W-we’re not stuck are we!?” He was staring to panic now, cold sweat beading down his forehead as he forced himself not to look down.

Ishimaru struggled, somehow attached to the fence on the way to Hope’s Peak by a myriad of chains. Perhaps he’d angered a certain group of hooligans and they extracted revenge. It didn’t matter though, this idiot was stuck, and in need of assistance.

When Kiyotaka’s arm jerked around before finally finding a place to rest— hand on top of his own Mondo could have sworn he had burst into flames at that exact moment. His eyes swirled nervously, feeling his lips tremble; features twisting and turning as if wanting to say something. Maybe even remove the hand from his own in case someone might pass and see them like this but for some odd reason was kept still. Allowing the male to place whatever he had, wherever it was needed.

Even though he couldn’t move, that didn’t halt his reacton to clench his fist tightly and stare straight ahead; ignoring the heat building up in every inch of his body. “D-Don’t mention it, a’right Kyoudai?! Ya know I wasn’t gonna let ya fuckin’ freeze out ‘ere!” His voice rose, letting his body slump just slightly trying to relax. It was nice, but he would never admit that.

"It ain’t a bother… wasn’t doin’ nothin’ important anyway so, might as well be wit you if there ain’t nothin’ better ‘t do. Shit— hope ya do get those books of yers tho, would suck if we waited out ‘ere for jack shit!"

It was impossible not to feel all of his uneasy motions. Ishimaru was about to ask if there was anything bothering him, but Oowada spoke up before he could ask. He could always tell when the biker was growing nervous. He had no control over his volume and he always got stiff. He slowly wrapped his fingers around his hand, holding it a little tighter in an attempt to calm him without bringing up the issue. He'd rather not point out his discomfort and make things more awkward.

"Right.. It's supposed to come today! I hope nothing happened to it.. those books are very important!" A chilled breeze blew through, causing Ishimaru to shiver. Even under the blanket, the temperature outside was steadily dropping.He shifted, trying to get closer to the heat source that was Oowada, but he was so close already. If only he had brought a jacket at first.. he was already chilled to the bone by the time Oowada arrived.
