Hey there!! I was wondering if you have any headcanons for puzzles' childhood? I love to hear people's thoughts on it, as it's pretty crazy that the build up from it led him to cutting off his own head?? Also I love ur work it's all so amazing 😫💞
I do indeed! Here’s a big ramble of headcanons about Puzzles’ childhood, because I’ve spent probably wayyyy too much time thinking about it.
This also, funnily enough, ties into my human Puzzles design idea, so it’s knocking out two birds with one stone, hahaha! Anyways, enjoy!
• raised by a single father, never got to meet/know his mother, nor cared to meet her
• his father was a very old fashioned parent, worked a blue/white collar job in finance and seemed his son’s creative outlets/passions as a “distraction”
• has hererochromia and was born with one eye smaller than the other, he was bullied a lot because of this
• his father emotionally abusive towards him, though the line is heavily blurred between both puzzles and his father, which both of them having different views of how puzzles was raised up until his father’s passing
• his father was not emotionally present, though while he did care for him (feed/clothe, etc etc) he was often not emotionally available or had to work long nights that occasionally left puzzles to take care of himself
• puzzles was bullied and outcast which lead to him isolating himself for years up until he cut contact with his father at 18 and suffered his psychotic break
• he also struggled lot with making friends due to his arrogance and struggle to see others as anything but actors
• was born with Marfan Syndrome, has autism, bpd, npd, anxiety and depression
• chronic smoker, takes that from his father (which he hates) started smoking at the age of 16
• the TV he used to cut off his head was the TV he frequently watched in his childhood
