Even if you are completely indifferent or even negative on porn you need to understand that having to give sites like discord or tumblr your ID or picture to verify your age is really, really bad with regards to privacy and cybersecurity.
That stuff can and will get leaked or stolen. It happens regularly, and then it can be used to dox you, steal your identity, and more.

Huh, it's almost like society, both socially and financially, is set up to specifically benefit people who have monogamous relationships and get married and punish people who don't partner or get married. It's almost like there are financial benefits that exist specifically to incentivize people to get married and have kids and be a nuclear family. It's almost like it was very culturally normal until very very very recently to just not have any deeper platonic relationships after you get married, meaning that single people past a certain age just get left behind and get treated as spinsters or loser bachelors. It's like life just is not designed for single people to be able to easily participate and survive while still being single. Huh, very weird. I'm sure marriage will fix this.

Like maybe Iâm just a grumpy old man, but itâs about the music. Itâs the music, and the literature, and the history.
You can be the gothest mf in the world and not dress goth, identify as goth, or even really fw them, AND STILL be goth because your core interests and personality is goth. (Ex: Nicolas Cage admitting heâs goth after being outted as playing Dracula, living in a castle, and having a pet Raven who curses at him.)
Iâm just so tired of going in the tags on various sites and itâs just fashion. Nothing but fashion. Which is cool and all, love the fashion and aesthetic. But it just makes it all feel so shallow and forced.
Whereâs the discussion? Whereâs the conversation about the deeper emotional meaning of lyrics and prose?

Itâs not. It never was. It should never be. I feel like a damn good lot of yall would benefit from reading @gothiccharmschoolâs book (by the same name. Itâs 10/10 couldnât recommend it more) in which Auntie Jill covers in detail the concept of the Not A Goth or people who are decidedly goth but donât look it.
Judging people based off what they wear and their makeup instead of the music they chose or the media they consume. Literally judging a book by its cover. Ya know the shit we complain about normies doing to us??

Awww, thanks for recommending my book! While I'm a big fan of the various aesthetics that fall under the "goth" umbrella, I want the music, the art, the discussions of the history (both traditional and of 'the scene'), discussions of lyrics and the books and poetry that may have inspired them ... you get the idea.
I hate when I say things like "oh I want an ipod classic but with bluetooth so I can use wireless headphones" and some peanut comes in and replies with "so a smartphone with spotify?" No. I want a 160GB+ rectangular monstrosity where I can download every version of every song I want to it and it does nothing except play music and I don't need a data connection and don't have to pay a subscription to not have ads and don't have popups suggesting terrible AI playlists all over the menus.

Hey everyone, I know it's going to be a busy day for a lot of people, but Google enrolled everyone over 18 into their AI program automatically.
If you have a google account, first go to gemini.google.com/extensions and turn everything off.
Then you need to go to myactivity.google.com/product/gemini and turn off all Gemini activity tracking. You do have to do them in that order to make sure it works.
Honestly, I'm not sure how long this will last, but this should keep Gemini off your projects for a bit.
I saw this over on bluesky and figured it would be good to spread on here. It only takes a few minutes to do.
Writers: It's asking to read your Google Docs and be able to 'summarize' things from them and such things. I just turned all mine off.
Because this isn't mentioned above, also go to google.com/drive/settings and turn off all the annoying bits that interface directly with docs there.
This is all in the "privacy" tab of your settings. How fun that everything is hidden two layers deep. đ This DOESN'T get rid of the stupid little star constantly asking you to use it, unfortunately, but that's what the picker in ublock is for. đ
More detail instructions for OP's post for those who are confused. This is done from the browser on my laptop, I don't know what they look like on phones.
When you click the first link gemini.google.com/extensions, you need to click on the setting icon at the bottom, then choose "Extension", like this:
Scroll down a bit, you will see the options, turn them all off.
Then, you click on the second link myactivity.google.com/product/gemini, you'll see it tells you that it's already "turn off". NO! IT'S NOT! You have to click on that "Turn off" option, it'll drop down a menu like this:
Turn that thing off. Until that button shows you have to click to turn it back on like this:
And then, click on the delete button down there too, even if it says there's nothing to delete, just do it as a caution.
After you's done with those two. You go to your Drive, find the Setting button.
Click on the "Privacy" tab, choose the button "Manage Workspace smart feature setting"
Tick both of those off, then click Save. Or if you still want to use Google AI assistant for some reasons, please read the fine lines very very carefully.
Only then, you can feel safe enough with this force AI assistant bullshit. FOR NOW 𤥠All these steps still can't get rid of that Gemini blinkblink icon though >:(((((

Hi fun fact, colors do have meaning and there is a legit thing called color theory. Red does has more positive connotations than negative like the @mintymaiden said. Red is associated with more love, lust, passion than blood and death just like the chart shows you but If you want, hereâs a link for you to check it out yourself.
