BarakAllahufeekum!
what is the authentic procedure for doing ghusul?
Asalamualaykum warahmatullah
There are many narrations that can be found for this.
Some from Saheeh al bukhari can be found here:

Salamalikum brother , I am going through a tough time regarding my job. I'm unemployed for last two years with my wife and two kids, though I am highly qualified for a job with experience. I belief this is I'm having with the hokum of Allah. Pls pray for us. If you suggest any ammal to practice pls let me know. I Alhamdulillah try to follow sunnah. Pls do pray us all to cover up the situation we are goin through.
Walaykumasalam warahmatullah
I am a sister but I will pray for you and your family.
There are quite a few dua’s from the qur’an and the sunnah that you are for times of distress, tragedy, in seeking Allah’s aid. Continue to make astghfaar and be diligent in your salahs. Make it a point to get up and pray tahajjud and do what you can practically in terms of taking on jobs that you may be overqualified for, finding work online in the meantime through websites such as upwork.com, networking through social media (such as LinkedIn) and in real life because you never know who knows who.
May Allah ease your situation and increase the barakah in your lives ameen.
How many times Allah swt mentioned Angels in Qur'an.
Asalamualaukum warahmatullah.
Angels Jibra’eel, Mikaaeel, Harut & Marut are mentioned by name but I don’t know how many times the word “Malaaika” has been mentioned in the qur’an nor do I think it is of any benefit for us to know honestly.
Asalamualaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu
Recently, many of you have been sending messages to this blog. I apologize but this blog has not been active in a long while. It fills my heart with joy to see that the work and efforts I did invest into this still circulates and helps others but unfortunately, I no longer have the time to do so.
BarakAllahufeekum!

Assalam alaikum. I had a question i.e if some jewellery is kept for daughter's marriage which will be given in her wedding do we have to pay zakat even for that jewellery also. Hope to receive quick answer
walaykumasalam warahmatullah.
I actually don't know at all. That is a question best referred to an 'aalim.
My assumption would be that since it is in your possession and is your property, you would have to pay zaka'at on it but thats just the logical thing to me. AllahuAlam.
Your blog is marvellous and very clarifying! Congratulations for the good work (:
BarakAllahufeekum!
Thank you :) I wish I had more time to work on it. It really helped me with my own knowledge as well.
Would you please tell me the exact meaning of "ummah" according to the hadith. Does it includes non muslims in it too or it is only use to refer Muslims.
Ummah refers to the word "nation" in arabic so generally in ahadeeth you will hear it in reference to the muslim ummah or the people of the nation of islam. Nonetheless, every prophet alayhis salatowasalam have had their own ummat (pl) in the past and surely, the ummah of Muhammad (sallallahua layhi wasallum) supersedes all before in numbers. :)
What is fitrah
I believe i did already define this term on this blog. Please help yourself to the archive of past posts.
my mother said we have two kinds of malaika, one made from light and the 2nd is made from fire. is that true? if iblis is not a fallen angel, then why he is in the heaven when Allah said bow to Adam? if Adam is our grandfather, then with jin who is their grandfather? pls answer. ASAP
Asalamualaykum warahmatullah
That is a misconception. There are three kinds of makhluqaat (creation) that Allah has told us about: An-Nas (Humans- Made of clay with their own free will), Malaika (Angels- Made of Light and only obedient to Allah) & Lastly Jinn (Made of fire and they too have their own free will).
It is impossible for the concept of fallen angel to exist in islam because Allah has created angels in such a way that they cannot disobey Allah or fall into sin. Iblees was a jinn but once upon a time he was the most pious of the jinn so Allah had risen his status so much so that he would be among the angels. Nonetheless, he was a jinn and his arrogance got the best of him which led to his damnation.
Adam alayhis salam is not necessarily our "grandfather" but we are all children of Adam; that is we can all trace back our lineages to him. As for the first of Jinn to be created, AllahuAlam. That is from al ghayb and we don't know because Allah hasn't revealed that information to us. Nor do we need to know as Allah has given us everything we need for ourselves to get to jannah.
BarakAllahufeekum
ps- I'm glad to answer your questions but i am not here to do so on an obligatory basis so I would appreciate it if you at least gave me your salam, displayed some basic etiquette for someone whom you are asking for favour. You cannot demand to be answered like such. Please remember that for next time you approach anyone. :)
awrah
Here ya go
How mush fitra this year
I'm sorry I'm not quite sure of what you're asking?
When you fast, then let your hearing, sight and tongue fast and abstain from lies and haraam things, and refrain from harming your neighbour. Be tranquil and dignified on the day when you fast, and do not let the day when you fast and the day when you do not fast be the same.
Jaabir ibn ‘Abd-Allaah Rahimullah.
Assalamualaikum, please don't stop posting :(
Walaykumasalam warahmatullah..AAAHH yurrrr killin meeehhh.. -_-'lol insha'Allah if I can get someone to help me out here I would not mind posting on a daily basis but for me as one person, it honestly gets too much with all of my other responsibilities. :(
Asalam o Alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakat! Have you already done one on Jinn and I just missed it?
Walaykumasalam warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu..
How is it that someone is still reading this blog!? SubhanAllah! May Allah reward you
As far as I remember, I did. I remember because I did jinns, angels (malaika), and humans (an-nas) all as a trio back to back for three days.
Unfortunately, my browser wouldn't let me look through my archive properly :/ I don't think I tagged it properly.
Try looking through my archive. Especially in this month if you can (http://islamic-dictionary.tumblr.com/archive/2011/4)
