A little bit about the heart behind Krochet Kids International:

“Our two project locations are but microcosmic examples of what we hope to replicate throughout impoverished communities around the globe. Join with us as we continue to spread the good word of hope and empowerment…”

Krochet Kids provides an amazing four-year program of mentorship, education and business planning that was started by three young college-graduates and the arbitrary hobby of crocheting beanies. The founders invested into the women of Lima, Peru and Gulu, Uganda to cultivate their knowledge of crocheting beanies to better the communities in a long-term way. They began teaching crochet to women in less established areas in both Lima and Gulu. After strategizing a way to help these women to best improve their financial, emotional and spiritual states they finally established themselves as Krochet Kids International. Krochet Kids International was created and continues to grow along side these amazing women! I am so eager to see the things that are waiting for me in the next six months in Peru! There is nothing in me, after praying hard about this opportunity that says I shouldn’t go or will regret going. God has given me a peace and has entrusted me to make my decision knowing that no matter what I chose, He is here and proud, as He’ll ever be of me.

I feel so privileged to have been chosen to be apart of Krochet Kids and be able to love these women the way God has unceasingly loved in my own life.
