regarding valentines day, uma doesn’t think much of it. she never once celebrated it on the isle, mainly because the isle isn’t the place to celebrate love. the only thing really celebrated on the isle was victory and vengeance. so now that she resides in auradon, her beliefs of the matter hasn’t changed. maybe it’s because she hasn’t celebrated the day with someone she loves before, maybe it’s something more. but for uma to really celebrate it, to really let go and enjoy all the holiday tradition has to offer, it’ll take a lot of time and convincing. she has to really believe the other is worth the effort, worth her heart and love before she’ll ever feel comfortable opening up and celebrating such an intimate holiday.
