                                    he is a boy who listens to all , follows every direction , and cares little for himself . things that she tells him , things that he knows he should very well heed to , comes with furrowed brows and a confusion akin to a naivete --- a broken shadow of a boy who once could’ve very well been a leader . head lowered , contemplating her words ... until head shook .

                         he was a boy of many different , non - defining talents , but there was few that made him happy --- things that he could’ve done to make himself worthwhile to his peers or even people in general .

                         the phansite was his own little rebellion , his cry for help to those he know were better off saving the world than him . mishima knew well to live vicariously through others , to latch himself onto those who could save others rather than take things on head first .

                                        the boy is sputtering ; glitter was not his friend and it dusted his hair and eyelashes in a thin mist . almost immediately he’s brushing it all off , aiming somewhat in kitagawa’s direction to attempt to get some back on him as well .

               ❝ what was that for ? it’s going to be stuck in my hair for weeks ! ❞

         part of him has half a mind to hug the other ... but timidness and common courtesy overrode feelings to do as such . if mishima had any glitter himself , he’d want to toss some back , but he doesn’t . ( he thinks it might be an artist thing , to always have glitter ? )

                                           how did she know he was thinking about dropping out ? how did she know he was thinking about doing other things with his life than take the abuse of going to shujin day after day . he wasn’t all too smart , he wasn’t good at volleyball , and the mark kamoshida left on him reminded the boy every day that perhaps he would never be good enough for anything other than self - satisfaction . what could possibly be worth the pain and suffering he’s endured until now ?

              dropping out and going straight into work seemed like an easier ideal , skip what torture he could and start making money ( get out of the house he so desperately wished to leave on days like these . ) but ... if nicole wanted him to stay , to persevere in his studies ... maybe he could . not for himself , but for someone who believed in him .
