sighhhhh me when iâm kind of emotional about finishing this project (about May 20-June 27)
iâm thinking my next project could be the WAA, short and sweet and just one small frame. i need small projects.
This is based on the RFTA model, as evidenced by the trophy on the couch instead of on display during AAI. I saw all the clear detail in the HD model, and it made me very sad. Obviously the room is not as âto scaleâ as it could be, but i kinda like it that way. The empty space in AAI is unnerving to me.
anyways if you wanted to know how things got made.. (i need to justify how long i spent on this)
:Thereâs only one component in the model that wasnât handmade by me: the teapot! I took one look at it and decided air dry clay has too much of an attitude to make the thin handle and spout, so i just.. went to hobby lobby and got a dollhouse tea set. iâm super proud of that being the only thing i didnât hunch over for an inordinate time for though.
;The books are folded up foam sheets sewn together as tight as visually appealing as they can be. This, very much hurt my fingers to do.
:The feather pen on his desk (even though you canât really see it) is a real one! i have a feather stuffed pillow so i literally sat hunched over it and picked out feathers until i found one small enough.
:The couch is actually âproperlyâ upholstered. itâs dyed fabric covering foam sheets that have obviously not been stapled in place, but glued instead. it took me a while please me impressed.
:If i really wanted to move them, the curtains are functional! they can move on the rod, but i donât anticipate having to close them any time soon. considering. edgeworth never closes them either. even at 2 in the morning when heâs on vacation.
:my favorite thing to make was probably the steel samurai figure in the back. obviously it isnât perfect, and i messed up my angles a lot, but im still happy with how much detail i was able to cram into something that fits inside a size 6 ring.
:and of course, molars on the computer screen. i like to think that itâs his wallpaper.
he is so wide his head is so wide iâm like vaguely upset but i digress
i just pulled a hachiware line for the text, heâs actually one of the only ones that speaks comprehensible words in the show so thatâs why itâs in english instead of noises today

the funny thing about phoenixâs character is that he may seem like a blank slate protagonist on the surface, but when you actually play ace attorney you very soon realise thatâs not the case and he has his own distinct personality.
however, if you ever hear shu takumi talk about how he wrote phoenix, itâs clear that he meant to write a blank slate protagonist. which kinda means he must just assume everyoneâs that much of a cunt in their own head.
