i cannot emphasize enough how detrimental it is to the quality of the entire show when you have writers who don’t understand and care for louis enough to write him with the love he deserves. as a black person, as a victim of abuse, as someone with complexity who isn’t reduced to his past. he used to be written with love, but suddenly he’s written with contempt that doesn’t even try to mask itself as love. this season’s level of disregard for him makes everything else feel soulless and empty. is this just how he's gonna be written now? is he going to be the narrative's punching bag every single season? we cannot continue like this
