It's been a while.
Still waiting for a follow up to discuss results from the two week monitor and updated echo. Meanwhile, here's five minutes of my heart absolutely slamming in my chest despite the highest dose possible of my ACE inhibitor gushing through my veins.
Got a funny feeling my LVH might have progressed. Feels like he's banging away, squeezing violently.

Finally got a proper cardiologist to check me out. Waiting on results from two weeks with a holter and a fresh echo. Trying to find out what these frequent flutters are.
Meanwhile, my BP med dose was quadrupled because my readings on the original dose were 150s/100s. I also finally got on a statin, since my triglycerides were in the high 300s and my HCL was barely 35.
Also on the search for a new PCP because my heart should not have been neglected like this for five years.

What is your blood pressure normally, with and without meds?
With the meds, I clocked in at 124/68 yesterday.
Without the meds, I was getting readings at rest around 166/100.
Had a little episode at work yesterday. I get palpitations (feels like skipped beats, probably PVCs) frequently--I feel 5-35 a day so I'm sure there's more going on I'm not aware of.
However this was different. Out of the blue, it felt like my heart wasn't beating so much as quivering. It felt wobbly in my chest, and I felt two or three irregular, very soft thumps.
This couldn't have been more than a 3 or so seconds--I turned around and walked a few meters--but it felt so much longer. I remember expecting my heart to reset and then worrying when the familiar thump never came and the wobbly feeling continued.
Anyone have any thoughts on what might have happened?
Struggled to get a decent recording at tricuspid, so here's three minutes of my apex instead.

Just turned 40. About 5'10" (178cm) and somewhere between 230 and 250lb (104 - 113kg)

He was fine until lunch, and then missing beats like mad after 2000. Only calmed down now, when I have time to record him.
Had an average amount of caffeine today (large cold brew with breakfast, ~8oz of drip coffee with lunch), but my heart was immensely irritated.

I started tracking my palpitations this afternoon: 1830: Felt one skipped beat. HR 80. At rest.
1930: Felt two skipped beats in a row. HR 86. At rest; had just finished eating.
2130: Felt one skipped beat. HR 112. Had just finished some mild activity.
2145: Felt one skipped beat. HR 95. At rest.
2350: Felt two skipped beats in a row. HR 80. Driving home; no stress, no traffic.
Started keeping track late in the day, and this is obviously just what I felt--I wasn't wearing a monitor. Seven noticeable skipped beats in six hours; I wonder how many happened I didn't feel.
0427: One skipped beat. HR 60. At rest.
0521: One skipped beat. HR 82. Folding laundry.

Not sure, really.
The only "diagnosis" I have is hypertension. I'm taking medication for that.
An echo from a few years back indicates the walls of my left ventricle are slightly stiffer and thicker than they should be, and don't relax properly between beats.
My ejection fraction as of 4 years ago was 50%.
I was never referred to a cardiologist or treated in any way beyond my blood pressure medication, so I'm not sure where my heart is at currently.
