FTL in futuristic settings
Finally found something to post This Is A Very Unusual Thing To Think About But, Light Speed Things Don't Experience Time. That Might Sound Weird But Its True When An Object Reaches High Enough Speeds Time Will Slow Down For The Object Up To Light Speed Where No Time Will Pass For The Object. This Might Seem Like Its Nothing But In So Many Settings They Don't Just Go Light Speed They Go FTL, AKA Faster Than Light This Means That Going Faster Than Light Would VERY Slowly Rewind Time. This Means In Most Settings Pressing Your FTL Button Would Set You To A State Moments Before Pressing The Button, If You Aren't Going That Much Faster Than Light For Very Long, OR Possibly Cause All Kinds Of Issues Like Having Your Cast Un-Board The Ship Mid Jump, It Could Even Regress Them To Children If It Doesn't Regress Actions But Just Biologically. You Might Be Thinking Well What Do I Do Then You Have Two VERY Good Options And Possibly Infinite Good Solutions. 1: Just Don't Have Them Go That Far. There Are Plenty Of Ways to Do This But Ultimately You Don''t Need All Of Space, There Are Plenty Of Examples I Could Give But It Feels Like That Falls A Bit Too Much Into A Writing Class And Not A Writing Tip. 2: Wormhole Not Much More Needed Here You Can Just Have Worm Holes Instead Of FTL Anyway Hope This Gives You Some Inspiration Happy Writing/Reading
