I honestly thought it would get a lot more nervous before hearings but actually I feel nothing. Part of that is having relatively low stakes compared to criminal hearings or quality of life matters but also idk my mindset is very much like "I can figure it out"

honestly i do understand some criticisms of putting too much importance on attending college (but also i'm not from a family that assumed anyone was going to college so my perspective is probably different) but it does make me emotional to watch young people get the chance to really change their lives and improve their circumstances because a few people believed in them enough to give them the opportunity
