how i do my makeup *^*
1. prioritize skincare over everything.
i like to use an anti-acne moisturizer & sunscreen before any face makeup
2. i start with my eyebrows
(refy; mac)
i love thick, arched & dark brows. i find that this brings more attention to my face (eyes), my most prominent trait, without an extremely bright eyeshadow or harsh contour. i use the brown eyeshadow to fill them in even after this pencil, preferably lighter in the front and darker towards the arch to the ends.
3. eyeshadow & eyeliner
(nyx; mac; verishop; tarte)
i will always use a soft pink/lavender or brown as my primary color using a fluffy blending brush (elf) for a softer glam & doll look. what i hope to achieve when using brown is versatility in the wardrobe, which is often why pink is going to be my go-to. this is followed by a thick wing, either with black liquid eyeliner or black eyeshadow for softer cat eyes. the graphic liner is usually white (if done at all), however if i feel like i want a more full glam, i'll use the pink liner. after that i'd use a pale glittery white for the inner corners of my eyes, my *aegyosal/tearducts, and under the browbone, and a sparkly gold just right below my brows and above the graphic liner.
4. face makeup
(maybelline; fenty; elf)
i use very little foundation, using the dotting method for this current one scarcely. what i focus on primarily is my nose contour. using the brown from the elf palette, i first draw an arrow shape on my nose (from near the beginnings of my brows, super thin on the bridge, and a V shape on the nosetip) with an angled brush (elf) and use a bit of foundation on the bridge after blending the brown out. after nose contour, i use bronzer to contour from my top of forehead to my cheekbones, and from under my cheekbones to just before my chin to create the illusion of a V shaped chin/face.
5. while baking (elf loose powder), i curl my lashes and apply serum, then both lengthening and volume mascara (x2) to BOTH top & bottom to then apply my mink fur eyelashes. i cut my lashes in half and only use the ends; this personally is more of a flattering doll-like look
(nourish lash, thrive, ilia)
6. my current fave liquid lipsticks r matte, so that's more of an excuse for me to put on lipgloss right? i overline using the staygoldencosmetics liner, fill in, and then use my liquid lipstick & plumping lipgloss (for more extravagant events i just use their glitter lipkit).
(stay golden; mac; two faced, buxom)
7. i use a soft highlight to emphasize my nose contour, inner corners of my eyes, tearducts, my browbone, my bottom lip and my chin & then use loads of setting spray xoxo
