hey if you don't mind me asking do you know when you'll get back to your peridot blog?

Oh, wow! Hi there! I didn’t realize anyone even remembered my Peridot blog!

I’m really sorry to disappoint, but I’m not sure if I’ll ever return to my Peridot blog. I loved writing Peridot, and I loved meeting all of my writing partners, but I found writing for her very stressful. I would have upwards of 27+ threads at a time, and I soon found I wasn’t able to handle it. It became more of an obligation than something I was doing for fun, and that’s no good! I RP for the fun of writing and interacting, and if it’s no fun for me, then I need to take a step back and think about why I’m doing what I’m doing, y’know?

And don’t get me wrong, I am completely flattered that so many people wanted to write with my Peridot! It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed the threads I had! I just don’t think I’m in a place to handle the traffic at the moment. I hope you understand!

[ Hey guys! Just letting you know I’ve been without a laptop for about a week now. My laptop just… Refused to turn on and still won’t. That’s where all my icons and whatnot are, so I can’t really do anything with them atm. All I have is mobile, and it’s definitely not capable of as much.

I’ll probably be pretty absent until I can get my laptop back, and when I do answer, please keep in mind that I’m on mobile! Cut me a little slack, please!

Because of this, some asks, like the “Treasure Chest” ones, will be answered later, as I want to use my icons for those. Thanks for the patience! ]

[ Update on this, and on some life stuff!

So, my laptop is being sent in for servicing, so hopefully they’ll be able to find out what’s wrong WITHOUT having to wipe all my data…

They said it would be 4-8 weeks before I get it back.

I'm also having some life troubles at the moment, and I'm finding it hard to come onto this blog regularly. So, I think I'm going to take a little hiatus, and perhaps come back when I get my computer back. Until then, I love you all, and I look forward to writing with everyone again! ]

It wasn't much longer until the little freshman's body tensed, and she arched her back with a squeak as waves rolled over her. She clutched the bedsheets tightly, pulling the fabric up in her tight fist. Her other hand covered her mouth as she loudly gasped, her eyes squeezed tightly shut. After a moment that both seemed to last forever and end too quickly, she relaxed, her limbs still twitching slightly as the overwhelming feeling slowly faded.

Peridot laid there, panting and shaking, her eyes staring up groggily at the ceiling. Her head was spinning, and she felt as though she had lost her voice completely. Slowly, she closed her eyes and fixed her glasses with one hand, letting out a loud, breathy sigh,

"... Hhhshit..."

Peridot was barely paying attention to anything else at this point. She was huffing loudly, mumbling slurred words that not even she understood. Her hand was clamped as tightly as it could go on the fabric of the bedsheets, the one in Lapis' hair loosening and pulling away, as not to accidentally begin to act a little too roughly. She instead raised it to cover her mouth as her feet shifted, her back arching again and her hips moving slightly. She had to keep herself from moving any faster, in fear of interfering with Lapis' work.

The freshman's tiny body was beginning to tremble, and her huffs and pants were becoming quicker and louder. She gave a rather loud whine, slurring out only a few "I'm"s, before slipping back into the cursing and whimpering.

"Lapis-!"

Peridot shifted her left leg so that it sat comfortably, both of her knees raised now as her toes curled against the bedsheets. The fingers of her right hand tightened their grasp on the blue waves, but didn't yank or pull, as she wasn't sure, and wasn't looking to hurt the other. Her other hand grasped the sheets a little tighter, and she sucked in an audible gasp as Lapis finally allowed her what she had been begging for.

It was definitely a new sensation- one that Peridot had never experienced before- but she couldn't say it was uncomfortable. Far from it.

Her small body gave another shiver, and she had to keep herself from desperately shifting her hips up. Her eyes were squeezed shut, and a string of curses and generalized mumbling came quietly between her panting and huffing breaths, a few small whimpers and whines mashed in alongside. Her words were beginning to blend together at this point.

"Yyyesyesyespleaseplease-!" She squeaked, unable to keep her back from arching.

When Lapis' hand moved away, Peridot felt as though she was empty. She wasn't ready for the departure, and couldn't help but let out a small, frustrated huff as her hips moved up slightly, a silent begging in her gesture.

The little freshman bit her bottom lip hard as she felt the soft brush of the other's lips against her bare thighs, her toes curling as her right leg shifted upwards slightly, bringing her knee up a little. One hand stayed tangled in the woman's hair, the other now moved to her side, the shaking fingers beginning to grab at the messed sheets. She gave another, more frustrated huff when Lapis stopped again, but was quick to become much quieter as the last piece of clothing was removed.

Peridot's face flushed a deep red, and she laid there, completely exposed. Her first instinct told her to shield herself. Clamp her knees together and hug her arms around her chest. But she didn't. She didn't react with fear, or hide herself away. She simply looked away, flustered and nervous.

It wasn't long, however, until she was looking up at her again from behind skewed glasses. The grabbing of her hip had gained her attention again, and she looked up rather groggily at Lapis, her entire body trembling in anticipation. She swallowed hard, and a visibly harder shiver ran through her body as she gave a desperate groan. Was she TRYING to tease her?

"Please..." She huffed, squeezing her eyes shut for a moment, "I... I-I want you! Please!"

This was followed by a string of mumbled curses under her breath.

Though Peridot suspected that Lapis was not exactly a newbie when it came to this sort of thing, she wasn't about to pry into her personal life. She wasn't even sure if she WANTED to know how many Lapis had been with before her. Jealousy? Maybe. Intimidation? Sure. Whatever the reason, she decided to keep that information between Lapis, and Lapis only.

The little one didn't realize she was making small sounds, mumbling a string of curses and pleads under her breath. Her hips moved along with the other, as if she was desperate for more of the woman's touch. She was panting now, her little whines and huffs becoming more distinct and louder. One hand stayed tangled in the blue-colored hair, the other holding tightly to the tattooed skin. She gave an equally loud moan when Lapis became rougher, and she pressed into the kiss desperately, her glasses barely hanging onto her freckled nose.

"Lapis..." Peridot huffed as she felt teeth graze the sensitive skin on her neck. She shivered, squirming when her movements slowed, "Y... Yes! Yes, I-I want you to!" She stammered through panting breaths, "Please..!"

Peridot squeezed her eyes shut as Lapis' hands moved, working quickly. She had obviously done this plenty of times before, and the little one was glad that at least one of them knew what they were doing. At least, more than she did.

The freshman bit her bottom lip to try and stifle the small whimper that escaped her as the woman's slender fingers slipped inside her. She couldn't keep her hips from raising slightly, as if begging for more. Her nails dug in a little harder against Lapis' back, along the base of the wing tattoo. Her toes curled, and she cursed under her breath.

One hand moved up to tangle in those messy blue waves, before pulling her head down to press their lips together roughly. The freckled cheeks were flushed, and she huffed when she pulled away for a breath.

Cue, a certain water witch to plop a flower crown onto the smaller gem's head. It was a mix of white and pale green flowers put together when Lapis made this up on her own. ''Happy Valentine day, Peridot'', smiling in direction of the other, hoping the gift would be liked.

Peridot looked up, trying to see the flowers that had been placed on her head. Of course, she couldn’t, so instead, she reached her hands up and delicately touched them.

“What is this? What’s Valentine’s Day??”

When the green gem exited the barn for the morning to check her plants, Steven had just started putting rose petals on the pond. Hearing the barn door creak open, he jumped up, running over to her, "Happy Valentine's day!" He pulled a wrapped package out of his backpack. The boy was excited to give her these high quality art supplies.

Peridot jumped when she heard the sudden voice, and held her arms up around her face to shield herself with a squeak. After realizing it was only the gem boy, she relaxed, letting out a sigh of relief.

“Hello, Steven!” She placed her arms behind her back, smiling widely, “What are you doing here?”

Peridot leaned forwards, looking the package over carefully, one hand now on her chin.

“Eh… What is ‘Valentine’s Day’?”

The boy giggled and kept the present outstretched, “It’s when you show the people you care about how much you love them! Most of the time people give out chocolates and pretty decorated hearts and flowers, but you don’t eat chocolate and you don’t really have anywhere to put a bouquet! So I thought I’d make your pool pretty and give you something you could actually use.”

He nudged the gift closer, “Come-on, open it!”

"Our pool?"

Peridot leaned sideways a little, looking over Steven's shoulder at the Smaller-Than-Average-Lake behind him. Rose petals now floated along the top of the water. The green gem quirked an eyebrow, but was distracted before she could say anything.

She took the gift in her small green hands, and looked it over for a moment, turning it around and around. Open it? How...?

"Do I just... Rip into it?"

“LAPIS! LAPIS!!”

Peridot ran through the grass towards the barn, shouting for her roommate before the building was even in sight. She had just come from the Temple, where her and Steven had been busy with something. Whatever it was, she was awfully excited to show the blue gem.

The technician skidded as she nearly passed the barn door, having to backtrack a few steps so that she could run inside. She looked around frantically, her little feet making small thumping sounds against the old floorboards.

“LAPIS! HEY LAZULI! WHERE ARE YOU?! I WANT TO SHOW YOU SOMETHING!”

Lapis has grown quite used to be the scampering sounds of Peridot around the barn. There was something rather endearing about it, how such a little gem could be so heavy footed in just a pair of socks, while Lapis’ movements were seldom heard beyond the swish of a skirt. Watery wings extended for just a moment to power her down from the rooftop of the barn, her usual spot. She landed in the doorway with ease behind the other and silently watched her run about for a moment. Finally, her slender arms crossed and she held a calm smirk before speaking, “Yes, Peridot?”

Peridot continued to run around the barn until she heard the blue gem's voice. With a small fright, she turned, and her face lit up when she saw her.

"LAPIS!" She exclaimed, running up to her and hopping from one foot to the other, "I've been looking all over for you! I have something I want to show you!"
