Nox sighed. His family was busy with work and he did not want to bother their servants with travelling all the way to the capital just for spending a few hours with him. So alone he would go. And perhaps meeting someone he knows or get to know someone whose company he will enjoy.
He looked at the clothes his sister had sent him. He was not sure why he had to wear something with so many flowers and the emblem of their house as he was far from being a heir to the throne and even had dyed his hair right after he arrived in the capital to erase the last connection visible connection to start anew.
Nox had wanted to ask Darius who had given him many discounts which made him able to live off his own money to go to the festival with him to repay some of that kindness but he had spent the past few days not leaving the library. He hoped to see him at the festival.

(((These will be mainly about etiquette etc. • His mother forced him to eat properly at the table beginning from a young age • He never despised her table manner lessons as she taught kindly and patiently • Despite living by himself now he will still follow proper table manners • He will always make sure to follow proper etiquette and remain polite and as calm as possible towards any noble, no matter their opinion of him, any lady, no matter their social standing, etc • He is really good at ballroom dancing… although too short for the average partner • He always tries to keep his status as nobility in mind - and behave and dress accordingly - one of the reasons being to not bring shame on his bloodline; he could not care less about his grandfather whatsoever but he does not wish to do it for his great-great-grandfather Chrom • The only situation in which he will ignore all these things is when he is in private with his sister (and in some cases his father and trusted servants and perhaps even some close friends could manage to see him like that) • once he visits his family again, he will surely talk about gossip about other nobles at the capital with his sister
Due to him deciding to not have servants with him, Nox had to do all kind of chores - and he had recently run out of vegetables for cooking. So visiting the market today it is.

Family background/past:
He is one of Chrom’s decendants but follows the bloodline of Chrom’s second child; the 4th generation after that child, his father the third.His father’s first wife and sister’s mother passed away due to an illness, his own mother left Ylisse when he was 5. His sister is full human, but he is a mankete hybrid who is unable to transform - when he gets angry he merely gets fangs and claws, he never managed to transform beyond that.
He was called the unlucky child amongst some nobles and tried to avoid him as his mother - his father’s second wife - left and he never showed the brand of the exalt signalising that the First Exalt is in fact his ancestor nor has he been able to transform into a dragon; his only partial transformation when angered branding him more.
He used to be very close with his sister, especially because his mother treated his sister like her own child. After his mother left, they started to get distanced and it got even worse when their father was assigned to look over customs in the northern sea region.
Current situation:
He has returned to Ylisstol by himself to study at the Tactician Academy and that is currently his only occupation. Nox decided to stay at a place close to the Academy, which his father gladly bought for him - on top of that he sends him monthly some funds for food. Occasionally either his father, sister or one of their servants check up on him when they have business in the capital to make sure that he hasn’t starved himself yet and he is in fact alive.
Nox wishes to earn money so that he does not have to rely on his father anymore.
He secretly wishes to see the King smile in person again - many years ago before he left the capital that smile made him able to ignore the noble’s whispers at an event.
Fears:
His biggest fear is the day he will still have a youthful appearance and his sister being an old woman on her deathbed. Despite them not being as close as they used to, he still deeply loves and trusts his sister. Although he wouldn’t mind her stopping to tease him with his appearance and height (he is 1.52m already and no one can tell him something else)
Nox would never admit it, but he would probably flee as fast as he can should the Falchion ever be pointed at him.
In battle:
(Stats) Being partially manakete, he has higher Magic - as he is small and light he also has higher Speed (than the ordinary Tactician); however, due to his body, he has less HP, Strength and Defense.
(weapon) He is farily capable at swordfight due to being trained beginning from a young age, but he cannot wield big and heavy swords. However, he prefers fighting with tomes as he can keep a distance with them to avoid hits that would hit him hard.
