SO i’m guessing most of you already have this (or have heard it) but for those who haven’t: in 2011 Tegan and Sara did a livestream event in NYC. however, Sara got sick. instead of canceling, they decided to simply downtune Sara’s songs (which means playing them in a lower key) so it was easier for her to sing them.

the combination of the lower key and Sara’s husky, whispery sick voice made this version of “Alligator” one of the sexiest songs in the history of sex.
