Kiddy Kitty is a soft and friendly sans-serif type family which consists of 6 upright italic and 5 italic weights. It supports Western and CE Latin and Cyrillic, and it also has some ligatures and swashes and 16 carefully...
It's on sale! Get it while it's hot!
Stunning Photos by Taylor Moore. I love exploration photography. There's so much to find in simple places. It just takes a good eye.
A peak at the Lufthansa Concept Project.
Love this concept!
** As a sidenote, life is a little cray right now, so I'll see if I can get my queue up and running again.
Baron is an free uppercase display typeface inspired by the classic sans serif font family's. This typeface is, because of his many alternative options, perfect for usage in posters and headlines.
Free Typeface!!! Baron by Frank Hemmekam
A drawing from one of my favorite artists of some of my favorite non- Marvel and DC heroes! I love the Incredibles.
In order to fight monsters, we created monsters of our own.
BECAUSE EVERYONE SHOULD SEE THIS MOVIE!
Beautiful.
Work by Jonathan Quintin who is a part of StudioJQ.
It's a screen printed wedding invitation. I can tell the designer had a lot of fun with this project and it's always awesome when a client is willing to go that extra mile and get things printed in a unique way like screen printing!
A deliberately "corporate" coffee chain brand in the vein of Starbucks or Peet's, but with an emphasis on lavishly detailed products. The packaging style was strongly influenced by the maps, currency and other printed artifacts of 20th century Europe.
I wish this place was real so I could steal a menu and add it to my physical pieces of inspiration.
Hipster Script is another of my habitual attempts at trying to reduce the divide between manual and digital. In this case, I try to articulate brush lettering, try to get the computer to emulate continuous painting. The...
Hipster Script Pro by Alejandro Paul. This typeface is on my wishlist. I want it so bad!
Most of my music picks have been non-soundtrack, but sometimes soundtrack is the way to go when you need just a mood for work. I love the music from Legend of Korra and this song is just one of many amazing tracks. I highly recommend you give it a listen!
**If there's any issues with the music player, let me know.
Work by Khoa Ho. I've seen this poster series floating around and I'm glad I finally found a name and a source for it. I love it.
In the artist's own works:
"Everyone has a memory, a past. It's the driving force behind all of our actions for our present, our future.
In this poster series I took a dive into the origins of these individuals and who they were before they became superheroes to remind us that despite the trials of our past, what we choose to do moving forward is much more important to us and the world we share.
"It's not who you are underneath. It's what you do that defines you" - Batman Begins"
Since Random Saturday is well, random, I decided to put up my pride (at the moment) of my dragons, Omashu, on Flight Rising.
You must be thinking, seriously, a dragon? From an online game? What does that have to do with design? I believe that brain breaks are a great way to cope when stuck with design problems and spending a half an hour a day isn't going to kill you. Plan something fun every day and try to just enjoy it. If it means watching tv or raising your clutch of dragons to rain down lightening on the land, then so be it.
All of this work is by the amazing Emy Bitner. Emy is author of the comic Trying Human, which is about a romance between an alien and a human which parallels a similar story from the 40’s in addition to other stories. It’s a great read, something I highly recommend. In addition to that, Emy makes a lot of horror art that’s beautiful. I highly recommend you hit that source button and check out her gallery. Her comic is here -> http://www.tryinghuman.com/
This is so nice! ;u; Thank you!!
Your work is awesomesss. <3333
