This video was produced in response to rhetoric in New Zealand that emerged earlier in 2016 around the Kiwimeter and the so-called "special privileges" that Māori receive. We argue that programmes designed for Māori and Pacific communities are based on equity objectives; due to past and current racial discrimination, such programmes are needed in order to restore justice.
