His entire self had changed, his demeanor, the way he held himself, everything.

Any action?” His tone was light, playful, although in truth Theon Greyjoy’s mind tended to be on hook ups nearly all the time.

“I hear you’re going on the hunt with uncle Robert and the others tomorrow,”  Joanna commented, taking a sip of wine.

She didn’t know how she’d ended up sat next to Theon Greyjoy at dinner, but here she was. She had spoken to him a few times since she had arrived at Winterfell, but still wasn’t quite sure what to make of him. 

Theon looked at the blonde Lannister girl. He wasn’t sure how exactly he had ended up beside her, and he wasn’t entirely sure how to even speak to a  girl when he was’t aiming to end up in her bed. He somehow managed with Sansa and Arya, and of course Lady Stark.

“Indeed,” he replied, taking a sip from his ale. “I suppose you’re opting to stay here, hmm? It may not be common for women to come along but I’m sure your King uncle would make an exception.”

Theon was less than thrilled with how his return to Dragonstone had gone. He hadn't expected anything friendlier, although he supposed he had hoped for it. What you did for her is the only reason you're still alive. Jon was right more than he knew. Sansa had saved his life in more ways than one.

He found his way through the castle to his queen and bowed his head as he approached, taking the knee once he reached her. "Your Grace," he said in a low voice, very aware of the lack of his sister’s presence beside him.

Theon hadn't been quite prepared for King's Landing. He hadn't been certain if he should expect lavish and extravagance or if he should instead prepare to be let down. Sure enough, he found himself not entirely impressed as one might expect. It was crowded, dirty, and he had gotten quite too used to the curtoseys of the North.

Although he had to admit that he was rather looking forward to the brothels. He was quite confident they would not be a let down. Perhaps he'd even see Ros again.

He had to remind himself that he was only at the capitol on business, to pass a message from Robb Stark and to try to gain any information he might be able to. Diplomacy wasn't really an option, they both knew it. Yet, it made a good cover.

When his eyes fell on a fair maid with blonde hair he felt his eyebrows raise. “Are you a Lannister I have yet to meet, or just a handmaiden with blonde hair?”

After freeing Asha and seeing the war to an end, Theon knew there was still one thing he had to do. Immediately after, he went straight to Winterfell, anxious to see her and to see for himself that she was fine. He trusted Jon’s word, of course, but things could change quickly in war; something he had learned the hard way. 

After everything they had been through he desperately wanted to know for certain that she was well. They had grown up together, and he had always felt fondness for her and that had only increased during heir captivity with Ramsay. The moment he road through the gates and dismounted his horse, he asked after her. “Get her,” he told the northerner. Letting out a slow, somewhat nervous breath, he waited as they went to fetch Sansa Stark.
