My 2013 has been really great. It started off pretty poo, but it soon got better.
See, at the beginning of the year, I was attempting to get over an idiot guy and I was finding it really difficult to do so, but then late January, I began talking to one of his friends who told me he's an arse and to keep away from him. That night the guy sent me a text saying 'I miss you.' and we arranged to meet in the next couple of days. As soon as we'd arranged it, I felt a black cloud descend on my world. The day came, I didn't dress up, I didn't get ready, I stayed in my room and had a good sort out with my stuff. I some how knew he'd not turn up.. later that night he text me asking if I was still 'up for tomorrow'. I told him where to shove it, and what a complete dick head he is, and then sat and cried with happiness as I blocked his facebook and deleted his number.
From that second, my year began, and it began being great.
This year, I got to see One Direction live, which was a dream come true, it was so great, it was only the 2nd pop gig I'd been to and it didn't let me down, it was beyond amazing. A few of my highlights of that night were before they even came on stage! Greece Lightning played through the speakers of the arena, and all the Mam's that were dragged by their little girls, were all stood up in their seats doing the dances to it.. it was hilarious! Then Psy's Gangnam Style came on, and someone's Dad took it up on themselves to lead the arena in the dance, and jumped from his seat and to the back of the arena where there was some floor space, and everyone cheered for him and I'm pretty sure his daughter will have died of embarrassment, but it was pretty funny to see! And finally when their One Way or another video came on the screen and the entire arena erupted and EVERYONE was singing it as if they were on stage.. it was great :3!!
I was also lucky enough to see McFly for the first time this year too, it was a childhood dream come true... I couldn't believe my eyes or ears, I could have cried with happiness!!! It's a wonder I didn't really!
Another really great thing that happened this year was I got to go to London with my best friend and her Dad. It was amazing, it was the furthest I've been from home. I loved the city, and I loved everything.. the weather was perfect, and how alive it was. Buckingham Palace was amazing, and it was all a bit of a dream!! Got to go on the London Eye too, and use the Underground and get a boat down the Themes! I also got to go to the Drop Dead shop.. it was like open arms when I walked in, with Pierce The Veil playing very loudly! Haha I bought some gorgeous earrings :3! Oh I love London, I didn't want to come home,and I can't wait to go back.. hopefully 2014 will see me go back to London!!
I had my 21st birthday this year too! Happy birthday to me! I'm now a proper grown up.. oh my god!
I began my first counselling course too, which is my first step to the rest of my life. And I thankfully passed my first course, it's official.. I'm studying to be a counsellor.. awww yeaaaaaeeeeehh!!!!
I also had my first volunteer job at Oxfam which I really loved, and then went on to have my first real job, at Card Factory which I really hated.. but getting a job was one of my resolutions! So well done me hahaha!
It's been an amazing year!!! I really want 2014 to be just as good as this year!! ^^,
