Winchester Cathedral UK (Norman Gothic, 1079-1093)

At the beginning of the s. XX the cathedral was in unfortunate conditions, the structure was submerged more than 6 m deep in the mud. The conditioning work began in 1905 and for this it was necessary for a diver to descend to the foundations to place the concrete and cement as quickly as possible. The diver was William Walker, who single-handedly accomplished the feat. He finished in 1911. He became the hero diver who had saved the cathedral.

The Ezra Pound castle, Schloss Brunnenburg or Castel Fontana. Built in 1241 it is situated above the city of Merano, on the outskirts of the municipality of Tirol, Italy. The name of Ezra Pound does give a clue - in the mid-20th century Boris de Rachewiltz, an Egyptologist, and his wife Mary, daughter of the poet Ezra Pound made it their home.
