As Heath watches the crowd of college students laugh and dance together, he can’t help but feel slightly nostalgic. This was his last Welcome Week on Greek row. This time next year, if all went as planned (which it certainly would), he’ll be a man with a bachelor’s degree and in the process of starting his own business. Before he could dwell too much, he hears the mindless chatter of a pretty brunette with even prettier eyes standing right next to him. He quirks a brow at the wallflower, listening to the rambles which seemed primarily directed at herself. “Water, Alice? You’re drinking water?” he scoffs in disbelief, eyes wide. While he’s been to various parties with the girl, he’s never spoken more than a few words to her. “Darling, please tell me you’re not serious. Are you DD for someone? It’s welcome week. You’re supposed to be getting shit-faced right about now,” he laughs lowly as he looks the girl up and down, rubbing his lips together. “I came to refill my cup, actually. Perhaps you can join me and maybe we can swap that water out with something more appropriate? Bet we can find out how many drinks it takes you to let loose in less than an hour.”
Alice looks at the male standing next to her, eyebrows raised. Of course, it’s no other than Heath Monroe. Currently, he’s making it looks like drinking water is the worst thing to do at parties. “What do you have against my water?” Alice narrows her eyes, shaking her head before leaning back against the wall. A small laugh escapes her lips and she shakes her head “I’m not driving tonight, no. And c’mon, we don’t need alcohol to have fun. I’m having fun laughing at people right now, you should try it.” She grins, looking away for a moment as she catches him blatantly checking her out. Now that’s something she’s not used to. Someone like Heath doesn’t really speak a lot to someone like Alice, he’s more into.... The party girls. Fun girls, you could say. “Oh no, I’m-” She looks down at her empty cup then back up at him “I do need a refill. Maybe a punch? I don’t want to go too crazy.” She chuckles, obviously trying to stay away from anything that involves alcohol as she follows him towards the table where the drinks are set up. “What does Heath Monroe drink?” She questions as she looks at the variety of alcohol on the table.
