A quick painting For Chachi.
This is a painting I did for the wife of one of my professors. She’s an artist, and broke her hand badly. She’s had surgery on it and is struggling with the healing process and her inability to create. I wanted to make her something to make her feel better and encourage her to be brave through the healing process. I am really happy that it’s gotten the attention that it has.
That being said, I was shocked when this became one of my more popular posts, I thought I’d reblog it along with the updated terms of service:
Misattribution or Non-Attribution. Make sure you always give proper attribution and include full links back to original sources. When you find something awesome on Tumblr, reblog it instead of reposting it. It’s less work and more fun, anyway. When reblogging something, DO NOT inject a link back to your blog just to steal attention from the original post.
This is a pretty awesome change on tumblr. I see a lot of people adding links to their own blog (like the ones above, those little symbols which I have taken the liberty to disable). There’s really no reason for you guys to be doing that. Please don’t remove the original commentary either, guys, it’s somewhat disrespectful of the artist. Just don’t do it guys, artists don’t appreciate it. GUYYYSS just STAHP.
