On way-too-assuming friends

Pro-Tip for people looking for a job: If you ask someone to give you a job at her company, it's your responsibility to follow-up, give the requirements, and show up.

Hiring for us ain't a joke, okay? Just because you're my friend, it doesn't mean you're qualified or that you can handle what we need you to do. You need to prove it, just like everyone else. Not to me, but to the entire team that you'll be working with.

On Answered Prayers

In 2011, I prayed to God to give me direction and to enable me to prepare for the journey to pursue what I've always dreamed to do.

He gave me work: at an adventure travel outfit that turned into a travel-based production company.

Now, I'm editing videos for Tripkada using clips from phones, because...startup (haha), and I'm so relieved that I can understand what I'm doing right now.
