"Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, gloify or vilify them. But the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they changed things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do." ~Steve Jobs
Casey smiled back at her as a silence fell around them for a moment. Leaning forward, she kissed her quickly and pulled back. “I have an idea of what we can do.”
Ashton titled her head to the side after Casey nkissed her, “What can we do?”
“Mm and what mi–” she was cut of by Ashton’s lips on her own and she kissed her back. “If this is your other decision,” she mumbled against her lips. “I think it’s definitely a fantastic one.”
“Mhm, it is a fantastic one.” She spoke as she pulled away slightly, smirking. She closed the gap between them again, “Just love kissing you.”
Casey grinned. “Good, I love you, too,” she nodded. “Yeah, I do and you love music just the same, so… you know it’s definitely understandable for you to change to it. I mean I could change to it also, but I really love my art major. so I want to stay with this and just have music on the side.”
Ashton leaned forward and kissed Casey’s cheek. “Good. I was hoping it was a good decision.”
“I’m sorry!” Casey pouted a little. “Oh, I think it’s pretty cool and it’s music, so… that’s awesome.”
“It’s okay. Still love you.” She smiled. “You really think so? It just feels right. I mean I love the whole science thing but... yeah, this feels right.”
Casey quickly shook her head as she looked towards Ashton and quirked a brow. “Wait you were talking?” She raised her hand to the back of her neck and rubbed it. “Sorry… what did you say?”
“Great to know you pay attention to me, asshole.” Ashton laughed, “I asked you what you think about me swithing majors.”
Casey was still sleepy as Ash pulled out of the hug and she smiled up at her as she slowly began to nod her head. “As long as you promise I’ll love it,” she chuckled as she slowly began to sit up in the bed, waiting for Ash to get off her so she could get up, once she did, she headed towards the closet to grab some clothes for the day and made her way to the bathroom to have a quick shower and get dressed. Once she was ready, she headed back out to where her girlfriend was, feeling more awake. “Okay, all ready,” she smiled.
Happily, Ashton hopped off of her, sitting cross legged on the bed. By the time Casey came back in, Ashton was laying back scrolling through her phone. She shot up hearing her speak, “Yes! Okay, let’s go.” Moving off the bed, she grabbed her girlfriend’s hand, pulling her towards the door and grabbing the bag. She stopped quickly just in front of the door “Oh, I almost forgot.” She turned to look at her and smiled, slowly leaning in to kiss her. A few moments later she pulled away, speaking softly, almost a whisper, “I love you, baby.”
Grinning sleepily, Casey tightened the hold around her slightly. “Don’t wannnnaaa,” she whined a little until she heard that Ash had made plans and she slowly opened both eyes this time. “And what sort of plans did you make?”
Chuckling, Ashton pulled out of the hug, gently resting her hands on Casey’s stomach. “You’re gonna love it, I promise.” She smiled down at her and leaned in to place a quick kiss on her lips. “C’mon, get dressed.”
As Casey was sleeping peacefully, she hadn’t even realized that Ashton had woken up and left the room. She only found out when she suddenly felt a weight on top of her which caused her to groan. Raising her hand to her face, she mumbled something incoherent and rubbed her eyes before letting out a long yawn. Finally she peaked one eye open and looked up at her girlfriend. “’m awake,” she mumbled out sleepily as she reached out for her and pulled her into a hug as she closed her eye again. “Barely awake… but awake.”
Ashton giggled as she was pulled into a hug. She wiggles slightly in Casey's arms. "You're gonna have to wake up more." She stayed in the girl's arms, "And as much as I want to stay like this for the rest of the day, I made plans and we gotta go do the things."
Ashton was glad the semester was almost over, it meant she had so much more free time to plan the things she wanted. And a lot of those plans involved taking Casey on cute dates and being a cheesy little dork. Being so excited for the day she had planned, Ash had woken up as soon as the sun came up, leaving Casey to sleep just a little bit longer. She was moving around the dorm grabbing things here and there and shoving them into a day pack. She didn't remember if she told her girlfriend about the little trip or not, but she hoped she would be excited. Once everything was packed for the day she lightly bounced into the room and hopped on to the bed, pretty much on top of the blonde. "Wakey, wakey, sleepy head!" Ashton chuckled, poking at her nose.
