“They really should be mindful when it comes to this happening during the week. And people who can’t handle the loud noise,” she shook her head. It wasn’t like they had to tell her when, but at least she knew holidays were days she needed headphones. She didn’t want to have to do this daily. “Better have been the best damn party they have ever had.”

Ethan nodded, agreeing with her and what she was saying. He didn’t sleep much anyway and if he did it was during the parts of the day mostly. “I guess if it happens again you can call the cops. I am pretty sure they need a permit anyway which I doubt they had.”

Maggie didn’t sleep. With the sound of a large bang, the redhead started to panic, it reminding her of what happened. Giving a small sigh as she was waiting for her cold brew, Maggie rubbed her temples last night. “Why was there so many bangs last night?” She really didn’t know who to ask about it, but it was really giving her more flashbacks than she normally had and it was exhausting for her. @ashtontnhqstarter​

Ethan looked at the female before he shrugged his shoulders gently, “I don’t know.. I heard it too and if I didn’t know any better it was either someone having a massive party or New Years eve 2.0″

“That would be for the best.” Esme replied with a small chuckle before nodding at his next words. “That sounds nice.” She said before following his instructions and turning around. Esme liked the idea of just snuggling up to Ethan and being close to him, even if she was feeling extremely vulnerable at the moment. She scooted closer to him.

 Ethan watched her as she turned, taking in the view of her for a moment longer before he pulled her closer to him as he felt her scoot in, wrapping his arm around her tightly, but not too tight, as he leaned over to kiss her shoulder again, “Good night, Esme.” He said as he laid back onto the pillow a bit more, feeling more and more sleepy himself as he struggled to stay awake.

Esme let out a small yawn once more as she adjusted herself so that she was more comfortable. “I’m sorry I’m so tired, I didn’t mean to be.” She responded knowing that it was partly his fault because their previous activity had worn her out a great deal. “You’re not boring me, I promise.” She teased.

 Ethan could not help but smile a little back at her, “Sure.. I’ll choose to believe you.” He attempted to joke back with her, before he leaned over to kiss her shoulder a little, “Turn around and I’ll hold you until you fall asleep.” He offered as he just liked the closeness more than anything. He hadn’t been close like this to someone in a very long time and he was glad he got to do it with Esme.

Esme wasn’t used to being close to someone like this. It felt nice to feel the skin on skin contact with him. She didn’t want for this to end but she knew that she was tired and would eventually have to go to sleep. Esme just hoped everything was okay for them in the morning. “Yes, that is much better.” She replied with a soft smile.

 Ethan allowed for his hand to gently stroke over her arm as he adjusted his position next to her once more, “I am glad to hear it.” He told her, offering her a slight smile as he all of a sudden was starting to feel tired. It was a weird feeling as he had not felt tired i na very long time. Not like this. He knew better then to fall asleep though, because he didn’t trust himself.

“Well, maybe you’ll have to come fully under the covers then.” Esme suggested, biting down gently on her lip. She was glad that he seemed to be acting somewhat normal again. It allowed her to think that maybe he wasn’t actually regretting what had happened between them. Although, she still had no idea what it meant for them. 

 Ethan looked at her with a slight smile before he scooted himself under the covers a bit more, so his own skin was brushing up against hers. His heat radiating against her while he wrapped his arms around her, allowing for his hand so gently stroke over her back, “Is that better?” He asked her while resting his head against the pillow while locking his eyes onto hers.

“That you can.” Esme replied knowing that she was thankful for streaming services because they kept her entertained. She sent him a soft smile at his words. “I just don’t want to get too cold or anything.” She lied, although in reality she was scared if he looked at her long enough he’d find all of her flaws.

 Ethan smiled a little at her words before he allowed for himself to scoot over closer to her, pulling his arm back, which previously had rested around her on top of the covers, only to gently place it around her, “I can keep you warm..” He said before shaking his head a little at his word words,” Sorry, that was cheesy.” He said, letting his hand gently brush over her arm before he leaned over closer to place a gentle kiss on her shoulder.

“Yeah, I am sure we can find it online somewhere.” Esme replied knowing that it was probably on a Streaming service or something. She would have to look into it. “I should probably get dressed before I do anything.” She added, feeling pretty self-conscience in general.

“Alright, I guess that makes sense. You can find most movies and suck online these days I guess.” He shrugged back at her. He nodded slowly, letting his eyes glance over her for a moment, “Sure, if you want to do that then you can, but you don’t have to on my account.” He smiled back at her, “I think you look beautiful.”

“I mean it’s a classic for a reason. It’s not overly cheesy, but just the right amount of cheesy.” Esme explained, knowing she had liked it when she had seen it. It was definitely a good choice of a movie to show on a night like tonight when trying to please a lot of people. She let out a small yawn, covering her mouth as she did so.

 Ethan chuckled a little under his breath, “Right, cheesy, but not too cheesy.” He repeated with a nod, “Maybe we can watch it some other time then.” He suggested, offering her a slight smile as he was hoping despite tonights events that she would still like to see him again. He moved a bit closer to her when he saw her yawn, “If you are tired, you are more than welcome to go to bed.” He said with a smile.

“Okay great.” Esme replied, although now she couldn’t help but feel like she was forcing him to do something that he didn’t want to do. “You didn’t ruin my night.” She was quick to respond. “I’ve seen the movie before, I just wanted to spend time with you.”

 Ethan looked at her, adjusting himself on the bed so he was facing her some more and offered her a slight smile, “Alright.. That is good to know.” He said, slightly relived to hear it as he had been a bit nervous about it really. He let his eyes glance over her before he moved a bit closer to her, wrapping his arm loosely around her over the covers, “Was it s a good movie?”

“I would like you to stay, yes.” Esme replied, her words barely a whisper. She felt kind of weird about the whole thing because it seemed to her that Ethan wanted to leave, and she couldn’t help but feel like it was because she’d done something wrong.

 Ethan smiled back at her when she said she wanted for him to stay. “Okay, then I’ll stay.” He told her with a nod before laying back onto the bed, looking over her with a slight smile, “I am sorry if I like.. Ruined your night by the way. With the movie and such.” He added with a shrug.

“I only want you to if you want to. I don’t want you to feel like you have to.” Esme replied, unsure what else to say to him on the subject. Her stomach was doing flips and she couldn’t help but worry if things were going to be weird between them now.

“But my question was.. Do you want me to?” He asked again with a shrug. “Because I wouldn’t mind staying, but if you’d rather I go then I can.” He wasn’t a mind reader so for all he knew she wanted him to leave and never see him again.

“I mean it’s up to you, whatever you want to do.” Esme replied, not wanting Ethan to feel like he had to stay just because they’d had sex. She wouldn’t mind his company for longer, but she wasn’t going to force it on him. She sent him a soft smile.

 Ethan looked at her, a bit unsure as to what to do as he kind of felt like she didn’t want him there. “Alright..” He said before sitting up a bit on the bed. “I mean, do you want me to stay?” He asked her out of curiosity.

“I mean I don’t want to get you in trouble with your dad, so if you think he’ll be upset than you should go home.” Esme replied knowing that was the last thing that she wanted. “I wouldn’t mind you staying though, if that is what you want to do.”

“I mean, I can just drop him a text.” He shrugged as it wasn’t like he wasn’t an adult and could do things for himself. Besides the last time his dad had been okay with it. Sure he’d asked questions but overall been fine. “I wouldn’t mind staying.” He said with a smile as he stretched his hand over to push a few strands of her hair out of her face a little.

“Do you want to stay here tonight or do you want to go home?” Esme replied, not really sure what she should expect honestly. So much of tonight was already not going as planned so she figured that she should just ask so she’d know if she should change into PJs or put clothes on in order to walk him to the main door.

 Ethan looked at her before shrugging, “I mean.. I should probably go home, honestly.” He said, before letting his eyes glance over her, “But I wouldn’t mind staying either, if that is something you would be okay with?” He added, as he didn’t want to overstay his welcome with her, he would leave it up for her to decide with what she was comfortable with.

Ethan offered her a slight smile again, “I am glad to hear it.” He said, taking it that she didn’t have any regrets. He was glad this had happened between them, but he still could not help but feel a little selfish because in some ways he felt as if he would have done things differently by her, which he still thought she deserved.

Ethan got it to remove the condom, throwing it away in a nearby bin as he reached for his boxers from the floor and putting them back on before getting back into the bed with her. “It did.” He nodded, offering her a smile. It had felt good, really good actually, even now after coming down from the high. He went to lay on his side to face her a bit more, “I hope it was good for you too?”
