The huntress had not been at their current residence for the team, instead sheâs been at Pyrrhaâs memorial for most the time as of right now. Not that she had been in any sort of danger, plus, the Relic was safe in her care. It should be obvious was drew her here, was not just a fallen friend, but a girl that was out of her leagueâŠRuby had already vented to the statue aloud, rather, vented to herselfâŠSo sitting in silence now, itâs only when she hears another personâs footsteps does she whip around to see whom it is.Â
Much to her relief, it had only been Ben. Though there was a pang of anxiety for him coming here, for sheâs not the slightest clue if he dare ask who the girl is. Even if the plate states her name, this would be a matter of telling him who Pyrrha really was.Â
âOh, heyâŠDid, uhâŠDid Yang orâŠ.Everybody else tell you to come look for me??â
Ben took a step back as she whipped around- heâd made an effort not to startle her by transforming back into himself further away. That way, she wouldnât be scared by the flash of green or that noise the Ultimatrix made when he transformed. Once she was aware of his presence, the teen pushed his hands into his jacket pockets and stepped forward a bit to close the gap between them.
âYeah... we were all a little worried about you.â He, and the rest of them, all knew Ruby was more than capable of handling herself, but all the same, Ben felt compelled when asked to take to the skies and seek her out. âIâm glad youâre okay.â Physically, at least; Ben wasnât the best at picking up on emotional hurt.Â
It wasnât hard to notice the giant statue, though, and for a moment Ben took to looking it up and down. Once he read the name engraved on the plate, his eyes widened, and he realized why Ruby had come here. After a pause, he looked back up into the statueâs face. âSo... this is her, huh?â
