As soon as she felt Jon’s body shift away from hers, she regretted her decision in telling him this too soon into their relationship, but now that it was already out in the air and she couldn’t take it back, she thought she might as well go even further and explain why. “Well, they always ask questions. And I want them to meet the special person in my life, ya’ know?” she questioned him, she knew when she brought the subject up that it was more than possible that Jon hasn’t met anyone’s parents in the past and he might of been reluctant, but Jo didn’t want to keep him a secret from anybody.

“You sound like I just asked you to kill somebody.” she joked, which followed with a forced laugh as she tried to lighten the mood a little, but she felt like it wasn’t working very well. She grabbed both of his hands and looked him in the eyes, “They’re not that bad, I mean, you like me, so I think you’ll like them.” she said in a soft tone, and a little smile forming towards him.
