Final Reflection

During this semester in the class of remedial English IV, I think that I learn a lot, even more than in other semesters at Tec. The activities that we did throughout the semester was more effective and dynamic to learn. Although, the teacher has a good way to teach some topics that were more confusing for me and I had to make a bigger effort.

In the first block, we saw different topics and some of them more difficult. Fortunately, the teacher provides us a lot of material to practice. Also in the classroom, we did many activities to improve and learn from our mistakes.

Reflection 2 period

I think that the way of the teacher to teach is amazing. Sometimes we learn more playing that reading a book. However the written and oral assignment, makes you to improve and realized which area you have more developed. The only thing I will add to this class are movies, I think that we can learn a lot watching movies, because there you can find phrases that the native people use, and these words are very useful when you travel. In conclusion I think that in this period a learned a lot like the meanings of some phrasal verbs

Hi, I’m Juan Ivan I’m 18 years old. My major is administrative engineering chemistry and I study at Tecnológico de Monterrey in the state of Mexico. I really like sports especially soccer and my favorite team is Barça and for football is Vikings. I consider myself innovative and organized. Also, another activity that I enjoy is traveling with my family and friends. My hobbies are playing soccer with my friends, exercise 2 or 3 days per week and play soccer video games with my friends.

Reflection First Period

During this first period in the class of remedial English IV, I think that I learn a lot, even more than in other semesters at Tec. The activities that we did throughout the period was more effective and dynamic to learn. Although the teacher has a good way to teach some topics that were more confusing, I think that the games that the teacher gave us like good and bad cops or the game with the dice were very effective to learn and in the same time to have fun. Also, the lab assignments were very helpful in order to practice the topics that we saw in class because we practiced with exercises online.  I think that the combination of speaking practice and writing assignments helped me to improve my English skills too.
