Servant Android 015-97, or nicknamed Maxwell by his owners, was one of the few and latest Servant Bots that were available. As they were only a couple years old, they were very expensive, but one particular rich family was able to afford him, and two older version ones. Instead of a laid back environment, doing things once in a while, the family was very stern, and made them do pretty much everything.
The two others weren’t scared of them, and protested, while Maxwell watched them get scolded, and eventually broken from a distance. He, however was scared, and took every order quickly, no matter how much he wanted to kill them, or even have his time ended. Let’s just say he was starting to drift into insanity throughout the months.
When they were moving to a new house to give the daughter they had a better view of what life was actually like, it wasn’t surprising that Maxwell did all the actual work. Taking the luggage to the car and to the house, unpacking things. He was going to be chopping down a tree to fit their pool the next day, since they wanted a full charge for that.
After what seemed like hours of work, Maxwell was finally commanded to stop, and go with them to meet their new neighbors. Whenever they went somewhere that didn’t have appointments, they always took him with them to show off or help. Of course showing off to neighbors seemed perfect to them. Being ordered to put his hands together and only introduce with a name, they went door to door greeting both next door neighbors. Then, it was the house across from them.
Maxwell wouldn’t be confused about these neighbors if he didn’t sense other androids nearby, and definitely more than one. That was a feature every single one had, it was that they could sense others of their kind around them. Did this household have androids too? Would they sense him? He was sort of... scared, in a way. But his feelings didn’t matter.
As if nothing was going on, the mother of the family knocked on the door and waited for an answer. Maxwell was standing at the back, where he wasn’t in a close position, but he could also be clearly seen. His hands were intertwined, and fear happened to sneak onto his face. No matter how much he tried to hide it, it was easy to tell when something is wrong with Maxwell.
