he leaned back against the wall, arms crossed over his chest. his eyes watched her angrily confront some guy she had been raging about for several days. when psyche turned around to ask him for permission, all he did was look at her, a knowing look across his face. “who am i to tell you no?” mars asked, smile across his face, not giving her a direct answer.

the place was a mess. violet stood in the door way of her bathroom looking out at the rest of her living space, she really wasn’t here that often but it definitely was messier than she expected it to be. no one was supposed to get here for at least another fifteen minutes which maybe gave her enough time to shove things in places and at least make it look super presentable. after all it was just her siblings, they lived together for 11 and 18 years respectively, they knew her. 

she quickly got to work putting things in their place or at least out of sight that way they’d have some place to be for the night. it looked a lot better than it had before hand, and she was mid-shove with some clothes going under her bed when the front door flew open. violet sat up and leaned her elbows onto her bed as her eyes landed on her sibling. flashing them a guilty smile she delivered her excuse, “to be fair i thought i’d have more time with the mazes.”
