Ryan spun around on her heel, resting her hands on her hips and pouting. “Mercie you’re supposed to help me decide not make it harder.” she huffs and studies the two dresses. “Which one could you see me as? Which would you like to see? I don’t want to be “basic” with my costume idea.”

“Get yourself hair extensions and go as Rapunzel, she’s more badass than Cinderella?” Henry hummed. “I mean, what did Cinderella even do? She went to a party and lost a shoe. That’s it.”

“Brilliant idea, I’ll even get some flowers and put those in my hair, thanks!” she says with a wide smile. “Cinderella was quite the clutz, and I don’t want to be seen as helpless so maybe Punzie is a better alternative after all!”

“I say go with Cinderella. Something tells me you’d look great in blue.” He offered up. “You’re way ahead of me. I still have yet to figure out what I’m going to be. It’s more about inspo than full on recreation.”

“You think?” she says picking up the blue dress from her bed and holding up to her as she looked in the mirror. “Alright, mirror don’t be shy, tell me what you think.” the girl says softly to the mirror she had enchanted to give her input about our outfits. “Thanks, Aug!”

“My two options for Halloween are Cinderella or Rapunzel, who do you think I should be?” Ryan asks looking at herself in the mirror. On her bed sat a light blue dress that she’d received from her mother last Christmas, and the other a pale lavender that she’d bought on a trip to France. “I won’t look exactly like them, but that’s not really the point is it?”

“I can never keep my hands to myself.” Her words barely left her mouth when Lennox’s hand found its way to Ryan’s butt, squeezing it lightly. “I’m up for fun first, sleep later.” A smirk appearing on her lips before she placed a quick kiss on her girlfriend’s lips.

“No you really can’t.” she giggles tilting her head up to look at Lennox. She accepts the kiss before sliding closer. “I’m okay with that.” she breathes against her lips. Ryan takes Lennox’s hand and intertwines their fingers. “Well what are you waiting for? Take off your shirt.”

A soft chuckle escaped her lips at Ryan’s nickname for her. Lennox returned the kiss as her hands rested on the girl’s waist. “Boring. I couldn’t stop thinking about London.” Normally, Lennox wasn’t much of a shopping kind of girl but she was excited to be with Ryan and find clothes for the yule ball. Lennox pushed her girlfriend a little so both fell on her bed. “Can we take a quick nap though? I had to wake up way too early thanks to your snoring.” She teased.

“Hey, I don’t snore,” she says with a playful elbow to the ribs. She gasps as they stumble back onto the bed and she nuzzles Lennox, getting in the familiar position of her head tucked under the taller girl’s chin. “Well lucky for you that we won’t be leaving or the city until tomorrow morning, so you have plenty of time to lay here and catch up on that lost sleep. And that’s only going to happen if you keep your hands to yourself.”

After doing her homework in the library, Lennox walked back to her dorm to find Ryan. She could hear the girl from a distance, It brought a smile to her face. It was clear the girl was in a good mood, and Lennox hoped it was because of her and their little trip to London. She sneaked up behind Ryan before wrapping her arms around the girl. “Boo,” Lennox whispered before placing a soft kiss on the girl’s shoulders.

Ryan hummed under her breath tucking away the last of her things into her duffle bag that she was taking for their overnight trip to London. She had been stoked when they’d gotten permission and was happy to hear that their request had opened up the chances of other students to leave for a weekend to get things for the ball. She jumped when the arms wound their way around her waist and she smiled. “Hi, Len.” Ryan turns in the embrace to face her girlfriend, standing on her tiptoes to press a kiss to the taller girl’s lips. “How was class?”

“I’m fine with that.” Lennox didn’t mind going to her room. The only reason they were in Ryan’s room a lot was that Lennox couldn’t keep it together. “Sounds great, baby. I’d love to go with you to London.” She let Ryan intertwine their fingers together as a wide smile appeared on her face. “Well, with all our sex talk It was just getting hot here.” She teased before placing a soft kiss on Ryan’s lips. “Yeah, let’s go inside. We still have to talk about the waltz.”

Ryan groaned when she thought about doing a proper dance, even though she already knew some of the basic steps to it, she would rather not relive the experience of learning it in the first place. “Perfect, I’m glad you’re on board. I’ll write a letter to my Dad tomorrow and ask if he can arrange us some transportation there and back,” she says with a happy smile. Rolling her eyes Ryan leads her back into the castle. “Hmm, maybe you can enlighten me more about sex when we’re in her room.”

The champion let out a warm laugh as soon as she heard Ryan’s reply. “Hm, how about you show me tonight, huh?” She teased playfully. She rolled her eyes when she heard the nickname. Ryan adopted this bad habit of calling her, Lennie. She listened to the girl’s ramble before nodding, “I’d love to take you there, baby. Do you think we can go this weekend? I’m not sure if they let us though….”

“Maybe, but we’re going to your room instead. We’re always in my room,” she says with a pointed look. It was true, she often found that 9 times out of 10 it was Lennox who was sneaking into her bedroom, not the other way around. “Maybe just Hogsmeade then. Perhaps over the Christmas holiday we can go before we come back, what do you think?” she says letting ago of the girl, and opting to hold her hands instead, swinging their entwined hands. “Not to be a Debby downer, but it’s getting a bit cold out here. Can we go back inside?”

“Hm, is that so?” Lennox challenged the girl as a smirk appeared on her face. They both knew it was true, but Lennox liked to challenge the girl. Most of the time, Lennox was the dominant one, but she’d be lying if she said that she didn’t like it when Ryan dominated her. A laugh escaped her lips when the girl spoke about the ball while a second ago they were having a different conversation. “I’d love to wear something matchin’ & we have to practice the waltz, baby.”

“It is,” she says smiling cheesily at the other and she leans forward, nudging her nose against the others before she pecks her quickly on the lips. “You’re usually the one in charge though, but I’m my own person and I can make you come crawling for me if I wanted to.” Ryan rests her head on the girl’s shoulder, listening to Lennox her speak. “Hmmm, we’ll have to go to Hogsmeade... or maybe Diagon Alley? Oh! London! Lennie I’ve not been to London before! We should go!” she says completely ignore the girl’s remark about learning the waltz. “Please, can we go?”

“Yeah, but we did pretty well talking about our feelings for the first time. We awkwardly told each other how we feel.” A small chuckle escaping the girl’s lips. Lennox shook her head at Ryan’s following words, “You are not too sensitive & you don’t have to apologise for that. If you mentioned other girls while we were having sex, or in general, I’d have reacted like that, too. It’s only natural, baby. I’m sorry.” There was no way she was going to let Ryan think she done something wrong when it was Lennox’s words that started this fight in the first place. A beaming smile appeared on the girl’s face when Ryan said yes. She felt happy & relieved. Finally, the two girls spoke about their feelings & it paid off. She wraps her arms around the girl’s waist as she returned the kiss. It was a sweet but passionate kiss, almost hungry, and Lennox couldn’t help but smile into the kiss. After a few heated moments, her hand came down on Ryan’s ass hard, “Don’t think I’ll be easy on you from now on though.” She said in a husky tone against the girl’s lips. Lennox wouldn’t be Lennox if she didn’t make it a little sexual.

Ryan was unsurprisingly short of breath when she pulled away from Lennox. Although the two hadn’t been apart long, it was clear that their emotions had gotten the best of them. She didn’t want to let go of her, and she didn’t her hands winding in the girl’s hair and she gasped as the girl grabbed her ass. “You talk a lot of smack for someone who I’ve got wrapped so tight around my fingers,” she says with a smirk on her lips. “You might act all tough Lestrange, but I can make you scream my name just louder than anyone you’ve EVER had. And we both know that’s a fact.” She says and traces a finger over the girl’s lips. “Should we wear something matching for the ball? A girl needs to be ready, you know.”

“We really are two oblivious witches, huh?” If someone had asked Lennox about her level of insecurity before this, she would have responded with something between an incredulous scoff and self-assured eyebrow raise. She was confident in herself, in her abilities, in her relation to the people around her. She was totally comfortable with herself, flaws and strengths and all. But this wasn’t the case when it came to Ryan. Ryan brought this insecure side out of her. It wasn’t necessarily bad. Lennox was in love with her, and not knowing how Ryan felt about her made her insecure. luckily, Ryan’s awkward words confirmed her feelings for her. Honestly, she finds it funny, that both of them are so much more comfortable expressing themselves when it involves dirty talk or sexual commands. She knew in the future this could easily change & they could be comfortable expressing themselves in any situation. “First of all, I’m really sorry for hurting your feelings babe,” It was a good place to start, “And uhm- I really hope you can forgive me,” She hesitated a little before speaking, “Because I’d love to take you to the yule ball as my date & girlfriend.”

“Indeed we are,” she says twirling a piece of hair between her fingers, studying the other. “Somehow we’re both comfortable with sex but we can’t even have a normal conversation about our feelings.” she let out a breath. “It’s an honest miracle that we’re even able to function.” Ryan was finally able to look up at Lennox again and she nodded. “It’s okay.. sometimes I think I’m just too sensitive for my own good. I should’ve let you explain, and I just kicked you out without a second thought. So I’m sorry. That was fucked up.” she admits and squeezes Lennox’s hand, a bright smile on her lips. “It’s a yes to both. I thought you’d never ask,” she says finally letting go of the girl’s hand and wrapping her arms around her neck and standing on her tiptoes to kiss her.

“Okay, but we didn’t just.. you know.” She sighed but nodded at the girl’s next words. She intertwined their fingers before looking up to the girl. A look of vulnerability on her face as she spoke again, “I am. Uhm, do-do you have feelings for me too?”

Ryan chewed her lip and ndoded. “I was hopping that I’d have been more clear I suppose- about how I was feeling about you? I don’t know... I just thought maybe you felt the same because of how like cuddly and what not we were being.” She says and rubs her neck, feeling unexpectedly awkward. “Of course I do. I’ve had feelings for you for a long time.”

“Do you? Because I didn’t think I had to tell you how I felt about you because I thought action spoke louder than words. I wanted to spend every second with you.” Lennox hesitated a bit before spoke again. “And maybe I was a little afraid to tell you that I’ve feelings for you in the fear that you didn’t feel the same for me.” Honestly, Lennox has never been this open about her feelings, and she was doing better than she thought she would.

Ryan looked at Lennox with her eyebrows raised. “ Whoa, whoa, Lennox- I know you know I fooled around with plenty of people before I really started to talk to you. Plenty of people had told me that they liked me, and then when I tried to dig deeper than that- it was just because they liked that I was a good fuck. So you can’t blame me if I thought that’s all you wanted from me when you said what you said.” She shook her head as she stopped speaking, looking away, but still listening. “Wait-  what did you just say?” she asks her eyes widening as she turns to look at her again.”Are you serious?”
