The medley of scenes, pleasant and bitter! But this rustic life has its own charm where no one is a stranger with innocent people ready to welcome anyone into their folds; where animals and people co-habit. At times as I watch... it seems as though my country's body floats down somewhere on the river Jhelum... Left alone, I grow into A disembodied mud house.. its lower part sunk into itself on the bank... Here old windows and dying men cherish their freedom... bowing time after time in obstinate prayers... In my blindness, at times I fear Not to wander back to woman and her child in that remote village in hills who couldn't see the uncaught bloodied light of sunsets... In the temple man has built nearby, the priest is the one who knows freedom while God hides in the dark... In this piece of heaven yet... Woman don't etch angry eyebrows on the mud walls, Patiently they sit Looking deep into the waters mirror .. For the moisture in their eyes waiting for their Men's return .. Till even the shadows roll up their contours and are gone beyond the hills....
