Since @taylorswift so kindly dragged us for not having figured everything out yet, I’m keeping this updated list of all the Easter eggs and hidden meanings we (and by we I mean whoever has custody of the one brain cell the fandom shares each day) have figured out. Seven clouds and thirteen suitcases could point to 7/13, the next stamp on the calendar
There’s a witch flying upwards at the rainbow Taylor and Brendon are in
Many signs point to a Dixie Chicks collab
The whole video takes place inside a chrysalis
ME! upside down is 13W which could mean 13 weeks, landing us in July for an album release
There are palm trees out the windows of the first hallway in the video
Taylor mentioned that “kaleidescope of loud, heartbeats under coats” was represented on Brendon right after he gives her the kitten
When she is on the unicorn gargoyle, there is a neon sign that says “Lover”, which could possibly be the album name or another track name
The sidewalk the snake is on in the beginning is drawn on with chalk, an allusion to Why She Disappeared
She wears cowboy boots and there is a Christmas tree, possibly pointing to a return to her roots. Strengthened by last year’s “Take Me Home” insta post on 7/13
