We tend to chase after things + people that we can’t, or aren’t meant to keep up with. For the sake of your journey and your destination, you must let it/them go and move according to the pace YOUR journey demands. Be fair to yourself. Stop exhausting your energy trying to hang onto someone/something that doesn’t belong in your space, benefit your life, or honor your purpose. What we want isn’t always meant for us. Sometimes we deserve better than what we aim for, and sometimes God has to take those very things + people away to ensure that we receive what He wants for us to have.
