eleven ; describe your ideal day. I really just want to sleep and eat my own weight in cookies and such. Since that’s boring, though, I’d say taking the ‘36 Plymouth out and driving up into the mountains (I’ve moved both of us to Colorado for this day, P.S.) for a picnic. Swimming would be involved, possible NSFW things with my guy (who would be you, in case you forgot) and then maybe dropping by one of the vintage clubs scattered around the country. Is the Cicada Room still open in L.A.?

twelve ; dog person or cat person? Both, equally, and neither. I do think I get on with cats better than I do with dogs but I am allergic to both so there’s a little ‘neither’ in there. Speaking of cats, my drama queen is meowing at the back door like she’s never been fed in her life. She really deserves to be on Broadway.

seventeen ; would you say your tumblr is a fair representation of the “real you”? I don’t think it does, partially because there’s barely anything on it. I’m a bit timid in the face of fandom and this is me trying to overcome that fear. Although, the sheer volume of bento thingies is 100% what I’m all about as a person, deep in my soul. :P

one ; if someone wanted to really understand you, what would they read, watch, and listen to? Read everything. I love books, I don't have one favorite genre or author. Mark Twain, Lucy Maud Montgomery, Neal Gaimen, Terry Pratchett, Jack Kerouac, Hunter S. Thompson and the list flies off into the sunset. Watch Buffy and Angel, a lot. American Gods. Aladdin. Brimstone. Keen Eddie. Supernatural(!), Lucifer, My So-Called Life, Blossom, Roseanne, everything Joss that I haven't already mentioned. Asian horror films, classic Lucas and Spielberg, the BBC living history farm series (Wartime Farm being my favorite), anything set in the 1930s or 40s, Gosford Park and all the documentaries you can get your hands on. I love all sorts of music, too, but I think classic rock, 90s alt and beautiful pre-war jazz are my favorites. I'm all sorts of weird, there's no rhyme or reason and nothing I like could be labelled as a big deal, elite or even pretentious. I just like things and stuff, lol.

two ; have you ever found a writer who thinks just like you? if so, who? Well, there's you, lol. And Wil, Logan, Demi, Laota, Chloe, Caden, Jon, Ry, Gwen, Shanna, Helen, Josh, Tally and PBK (more of a fantastic chemistry with a few than that we think alike). I do jive really well with the handful of mostly canon or canon-divergent roleplayers and fic artists I've been blessed to know in my life and then there are those who are AU but still keep the integrity and voice of their muse, it's kind of gorgeous. Still, you're never going to find two writers, especially in fandom, who think exactly alike. We're different, it's awesome, and we should be inspired by those differences. <3
