if you’re reading this, it’s a sign that the thing you’re anxious about will go well. take a deep breath and trust yourself.
It’s not important what other people think of you. Just do your own business.
A quote by my former English and Spanish teacher that still inspires me a lot. I really miss her and her positivity
Doing the right thing takes courage and strength.

No matter how dark it gets, the sun is going to rise again.

soft reminders:
keep making art when no one sees it.
keep taking care of yourself when you’re tired.
keep trying when you don’t see progress.
sometimes you just need to take a step back and realize how far you’ve come instead of how far left you have to go. you are going to mess up, and you are going to make mistakes and you aren’t always going to get it right. but, you are human. it happens. it’s okay.

Feeling sensitive and emotional is okay. Feeling like you are about to tear up, feeling weak, feeling as if you have reached your limit - all of this is okay. You are not overreacting. You are not being dramatic. You are not unnormal. Let your emotions out. Let the tears roll. Let the pain come. You need to feel it in order to heal it, my love. I just want you to know that it is perfectly fine to feel like breaking at any point of the day (or of your life) and your feelings are never invalid. Never ever.
Think about why you love your friends. What comes to mind first? It probably isn't things like "I love how they have a job" or "I love how they get good grades." Instead you might be thinking about their compassion, their sense of humor, their perspective, their passion, their values, their mindset/attitude or their intelligence. So don't let yourself or anyone else reduce your worth to your productivity alone. We're all far more than that!

After a tough day yesterday, I feel stronger and happier today. I received some lovely messages by friends yesterday, which made me realize that I am not alone.
Today, the sun is shining and I feel more energized. Maybe the hard days are really worth for something better.
but imagine being in your favorite foreign city, living in a cute, cozy apartment with a lovely view, working at a small bookstore, spending your time at beautiful cofffee shops and libraries, taking long walks, meeting new people that make you feel good, being yourself, finding true love and actually feeling good & fullfilled with your life
