The purpose of literature is to turn blood into ink.

Kindness is a language that the deaf can hear and the blind can see.

I loved you without words
I was never scared to show you that I loved you but for some reason I was scared to tell you.
I’m guessing it was because once I said those words out loud, I could never take them back.
I LOVE YOU
Those three little words hold so much power, so much meaning.
I wanted the right timing, the right place, the right atmosphere.
In my mind, everything had to be perfect but turns out that id been telling you that I loved you for months before I built up the courage to say it out loud.
I told you I loved you with my body, how open and intimate I was with you.
I told you I loved you with my eyes, how my gaze always fell upon you without realizing it.
I told you I loved you with my smile, how the thought of you made me smile from ear to ear.
Together we explored each others bodies, minds and souls.
The way you whispered your thoughts and dreams into my ear made me feel as if we had known each other our whole lives.
We opened up to each other in more ways than one.
You and I had a connection that people in their later years were still searching for.
You taught me so much about myself, the world, and love.
I was lucky to have you as my first love.
You were a great love and an even greater loss.

the best things in life
- large sweaters that fall past your hands
- flowers pressed flat between pages of an old book
- receiving handwritten letters
- big, whimsical trees that dance in the breeze
- paintings that confuse those with no imagination
- acoustic music humming behind a layer of drizzling rain
- before it rains, how the sky is grey and life feels like a movie
- old libraries that carry stories long forgotten
- socks that reach your knee & a big t-shirt
- the relief of finding yourself once more after spending time with friends
- messy cursive
- love letters that have long lost their way
- community gardens
- picking flowers & braiding them into your hair
- trees that rise much higher than yourself
- three in the morning when it seems you are the only soul in this world
- the sound of a crackling candle
- watercolours
- swaying back and forth in a hammock
- blankets that lay tangled on the bed
- dewy grass that welcomes bare feet early in the day
- counting stars when the sky is painted black
- creating an entire story within your mind whilst showering
- diaries that are overflowing with pictures and memories
- old, grainy photographs
- quiet giggles whilst sneaking around
- empty houses that shine with potential
- empty forest paths that invite you into another universe
- mentally living in your favorite book
- big, fluffy blankets that surround you
- blanket forts
- the sound of a typewriter marking the paper
- wrapping gifts for others
- crunchy autumn leaves breaking beneath your feet

Poem
Lure me into your shadows
Pull me into the dark
I’ll be embraced but tempered
Give me another mark
Give me another scar to bare
Take me somewhere to feel
I’ll accept any offer you give me
I’ll take the devil’s deal
Make me a story to cry over
Give me a reason to care
Pull a string and hold my hand
But only if you dare
Cause I live in a bubble
Connection is a lie
There might be an opportunity
But only if you’d try
Alice in Wonderland fall down from everything you know into a land of wonders fearful but also exciting
My Fair Lady (1964).
it all comes down to treatment
When Jack Warner was casting the movie My Fair Lady, Julie Andrews, who played the original Eliza Doolittle on Broadway, was overlooked for the part, that was given to Audrey Hepburn.
That made her available to accept Mr. Disney’s invitation to play Mary Poppins.
At the 22nd Golden Globes, when she won the best actress award (she was up against Audrey for My Fair Lady), she had her sweet revenge.
THE SHADE OF IT ALL.
My boss told me this story and I didn’t believe it. It’s so good.
The funniest thing is that they didn’t think Audrey Hepburn had a good enough singing voice so Julie Andrews actually sings most of the songs in My Fair Lady

The next time you try to seduce anyone, don’t do it with talk, with words. Women know more about words than men ever will. And they know how little they can ever possibly mean.
