Zack grinned, placing her back down on the ground. “Where to now, V?” He asked sofly, kissing the top of her head.

She grinned even wider when she made it back onto her own two feet, not even whining at the kiss to the top of her head. "Uhm, back to the bar all of my friends are at? They're probably ma that I ditched them. We're gonna miss the countdown either way. If you wanna just go back to mine, we can! Whatever you want." She replied simply, smiling up at him and shrugging her shoulders. It didn't matter either way to her, even if it was New Year's and the coming of her 31st birthday.

You are good at saving yourself there. I mean I won’t tell a soul that you are liking for me, but you know you are going to have to make it up to Pika-su… I mean she’ll pout something hardcore over it.

I'm sure she'd be heartbroken to see she's only the second cutest thing in the picture. Tied with Candice , obviously. I can make it up to her, it's fine.

Grinning ear to ear, he began to carry her around in his arms. “Having fun yet?” He murmured, a goofy smile still on his face. “Because I know I am.” He whispered, snuggling up to her.

The redhead continued to giggle, not really able to contain it. Saying she was happy to see him would be quite the understatement. "I'm having a blast, yes... could you put me down, now?" She asked, smirking as she reached around to pat his head kindly. She was meant to stay on the ground, even if he could very easily carry her, she'd prefer he didn't.

Mr. man of many nicknames so it seems. Good to hear though, wouldn’t want you hurting yourself without someone around. Me? Same shit, different day, and now a different year. I guess, didn’t really do much either day. Watched some movies with friends.

I'm sure most of the are good, anyway. I can get myself out of most situations on my own, I have experience with it, heh. Not a busy holiday season for you? 'cause mine is always hectic, which is not fun because holidays should be relaxing. Movies with friends is good, so long as they don't talk during the movies, of course.

His eyes roamed along the airport, sucking down the contents of a bottle of Coca-Cola, a closed bag of peanuts in his free hand swinging back and forth as he sauntered along the airport walkways. Seeing a familiar glasses-wearing redhead, he grinned widely and sneaked up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist and lifting her into the air. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!”

Upon the surprise from behind her, Lindsey let out a near-squeal, probably startling some of the few people in the airport near them. "Oh my gosh," she exclaimed, giggling now that the show had worn off, "Thank you! Well, I mean, it's not technically my birthday, just yet. Or did I miss the countdown?" She surely hoped not, that would have been a nightmare. Her friends were probably currently complaining that she wasn't there at the bar for the countdown, seeing as it was their tradition, but some traditions could be broken, she figured.

The clock on the taxicab's dash was going too quickly, Lindsey was sure. And the driver wasn't driving fast enough, but she didn't promote speeding so she kept her lips shut. As soon as Zack had texted her, she'd been out of the bar her and her friends had been at and trying to catch a cab. It was unexpected but probably the only thing that could've made New Year's better, really. Plus, she didn't like ageing but birthdays were more fun with friends.

A few drinks in already, the time went fast enough and before she knew it she was rushing into the airport. Even though she'd been there too many times to count, her tipsy brain needed a moment to direct her feet and then she was off. The redhead walked quickly towards where Zack should've been, eyes not finding him just yet.

I hope everyone had a good New Year's celebration, and all that! Considering just going back to sleep for the rest of the day, though. Aging =/= less or easier hangovers.
