hey everyone!! so, i made a fundraiser to help me change my name. i’m asking for $400, even though it’s going to total a bit more than that (i made a post on ko-fi detailing costs) in the end, because it will still help a ton.
basically: i am a 22 year old trans dude. i am almost a year (as of june 8th!) into my hormonal transition, and its starting to really effect how i am percieved: my voice is deeper, i’ve grown a significant amount of facial hair. this is wonderful, and makes me very happy in a lot of ways. but it also causes me a lot of stress and anxiety to have to give my deadname in situations where i am being gendered correctly, and out myself/go back to being misgendered.
i make minimum wage, and live paycheck to paycheck. i don’t have a lot of spare change, and i’m trying to save for top surgery related costs, which is going to be an even bigger sum. so help, at the moment, would really, really be appreciated.
