Due to her horrible sinuses, sometimes Theodora would get nosebleeds; and sometimes an act as simple as blowing her nose would trigger one—much like it had just now. Unfortunately, as she dug through her bag looking for the spare pack of tissues she always carried, she happened to realize she had run out. “Fuck…” She muttered under her breath, a rarity given the fact she wasn’t a fan of swearing. So with one hand covering her now bloody nose, she decided to approach the individual closest to her. “Um… Excuse me… Ye, uh, ye don’ happen t’ have a tissue or a napkin or somethin’ on ye, do ye?”

“Shit, Theodora...” Nikki grumbled quietly when the other girl approached him, digging through his backpack and retrieving a packet of tissues. “I leave you for 5 minutes,” he teased softly, “Now come on, tip your head forward.”

“Something full of broth and veggies so all good things for you,” he chuckled, setting his back pack by the door before without hesitation, scooping his best friend up into his arms, “better?” he teased, giving her a squeeze before setting her gently on the bed

Nikki let out a low groan when the other paced around his dorm, pushing himself up in bed and missing what the other was going on about entirely, “Woah, woah, okay.” he finally put his hands up, “Start from the beginning. And how the hell did you even get in here anyway?”

Cami: thank you Nikki

Cami: okay, good to know

Cami: of course I would, why wouldn't I?

Nikki: i didn't know if you cared

Nikki smiled softly at his best friend as she spoke, stepping forward and gently rubbing her arms, “well, now I’m here so maybe that’ll help a little.” he mused, gently nudging her torwards the bed, “come on, I brought you some soup.”

Cami: keep me posted, please

Cami: well, when you go, if you need some company i'll fly out with you, okay?

Cami: I wont. no one.

Cami: do the ainsleys know?

Nikki: of course, Cami.

Nikki: no they don't know

Nikki: you'd really come with me?

“Lot on my mind.” William smiled weakly, shrugging his shoulders. “Seems we’re in the same boat.”

Cami: oh my god, how's your family doing? how are you doing? does anyone need anything?

Nikki: my Dad flew out to England last week. She had surgery yesterday morning - we'll get results tomorrow.

Nikki: they don't want me to fly out yet.

Nikki: please don't tell anyone. not yet.

Of course even after her twin brother refused to binge watch Netflix with the bed ridden girl for fear of catching the flu, Nikki was the one to go check on Willow and spend the remainder of the afternoon lazing the day away with her. He clicked his tongue when the door opened, his expression immediately full of pity, “Oh, princess..” he chuckled lowly, “come on, let’s get you back to bed.”
