"This is not the time nor place."
"Well, where and when do you suggest then?" Tasha snapped as she rolled to dodge getting hit with a bullet, then fired at the shooter. There were more coming. A lot more. "Come on, Banner! I can’t do this by myself."
Bruce would get the joke. And she wasn’t using him, or at least she wasn’t doing it consciously. It just so happened that bad guys tended to be more afraid of the big green ‘monster’ than they were of the Russian ‘girl’.
The man she was ‘interrogating’ was about to laugh in her face, until the Hulk did his smash…thing. Effective. Not subtle but given the situation they didn’t have time for subtle. The information fell from the man’s lips in a frantic pleading shriek. “Thanks.” Tasha let him drop to the pavement, standing up to look at the Big guy next to her. “We OK?” She asked carefully.
The shooty man fell and ran away, and Hulk and Red Lady were left alone. Hulk still felt strange, like there was something trying to crawl out of his chest, but it was less now. Hulk could breath around it.
Red Lady looked up at Hulk and Hulk tipped his head again, confused. Hulk still remembered thinking Red Lady was bad and had to be smashed. But Red Lady was good, wasn't she? Red Lady was nice to Hulk now, and gave Hulk things to smash when there were accidents at puny Banner's lab.
Hulk nodded his big head. "Okay," he rumbled. "We go now?"
